Nielsen's Frozen Custard is undoubtly one of the best dessert joints in Utah. I admit I don't visit it as frequently as I'd like, but when I do, I'm in heaven! My favorite is the chocolate and vanilla. This place is usually packed in the summer--and that's a good sign. It shows that everyone is in love with it just as much as I am! more

awesome treat 3/16/2006

Nielsen's frozen custard is one of my favorite places to go and has been since childhood. They make the most amazing frozen custard, which if you've never tried you should. It's creamier than ice cream and much better in my opinion. My favorite is their mint chocolate chip. It's worth the trip. more

Amazing Custard 11/1/2005

I have never had chocolate custard better than the custard at Nielsen's frozen custard. This stuff is amazing. But the store is one of those businesses that has never really taken off unfortuantely. But, if you're out on the town and need a nice little treat at night, stop by this place. You'll be glad you did. The stuff is great. more
