New Horizons Computer Learning

I called New Horizons after hearing a radio ad at my old job. I was able to set up an appointment for the next day and met with one of their Career Advisers. We talked about the job I had and what I wanted to do and I signed up for a certification package. I'm working my new job now in a high level network analyst position. New Horizons set me up with multiple interviews and I received two job offers thanks to the knowledge I gained there. If you are sick of your job like I USED to be, then call them and set an appointment. You won't regret it. PS: Not sure what the other reviewer is complaining about. I spoke with Doug on multiple occasions and I didn't feel pressured or misled. more

The last reviewer is a scammer or hoax and probably works for another school in the area. New Horizons is the leader in technical training worldwide. I looked at ECPI, ITT and MYComputerCareer. I went to New Horizons in Raleigh and met with Doug. He spent two hours with me going over all of the program options. I chose the one right for me. Everyone in my starting class got through the certification training and was out on interviews in 3 to 4 months. There is a reason why they are the best. If you are looking for a school, don't read reviews online. Go by and visit the school and make a decision for yourself! more

Disappointed. I went to this place with high expectations because they offered some specific training that I wanted to sign up for. I am mid-thirties, have a good job and just wanted to stay current. So I called the number to request training and since I was paying for this myself was routed to some guy named Doug to talk about my options. He said he was a Career Advisor and wanted to talk about my different options. I was so disappointed! Complete BS! Career Advisor = Sales Associate. All he wanted to do is sell me a package of certifications that I DID NOT WANT or need. Even though I told him I DID NOT WANT this type of training and my path is not directed towards Microsoft or Networking, he continued to push me to try to sign up for a $19,999 package of certifications. Not to mention the fact that he actually told me not to take the ONE certification course that I DID want to take! (Because it was less expensive!) Complete waste of my time. Stay away from this place. more
