Everyone in KC knows this place, and if you haven't been here...come. Everyone from out of town...KC doesn't have the biggest or best skyline in America, but it's lovely noneth...

Everyone in KC knows this place, and if you haven't been here...come. Everyone from out of town...KC doesn't have the biggest or best skyline in America, but it's lovely nonetheless, especially with places like Union Station and the Kauffman Center on the skyline. And, this place has the best view of the skyline - hands down. It's free to park and free to wander around here. The museum below is great...$12 to get in for adults. If you have time, check it out, but if you don't have time or are are on the cheap, visiting the memorial is a great way to check out the skyline. more

  • The Museum is open year-round on Tuesdays – Sundays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Mondays which fall on a major holiday. Also open Mondays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
