Nasher museum 12/30/2005

If you haven't been here, I strongly recommend that you visit it. I love going to this museum because the sculptures are amazing. They have all different works of art...some in color and others in black and white. They have a lot of abstract art and also just regular sculptures. They also have a bottom floor and their "backyard" is full of huge works of art. Great place to spend a day and enjoy art. more

Quite a spectacle 9/23/2005

Between the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Museum of Art, you can spend a whole day enriching your life with great pieces of art. What is even better is that its so cheap, 5 dollars for students, 10 dollars for adults. The art pieces at the sculpture center are absolutely amazing. The first of every month, they have a night time event, which gives you a nice view of the pieces from a different perspective. I would suggest everyone go here at least once and enjoy the masterpieces. more

The Nasher Sculpture Center is an amazing place to take your family for a day out or to visit with friends. It is conveniently located in the Dallas Arts District. It features a very impressive collection of 20th century sculpture; this is an experience you do not want to miss. While you are there you should also visit the Café Mansion, this is an beautiful indoor/outdoor café overlooking the garden. more

Wonderful 8/19/2005

My wife won't stop raving about this place. She's been on my tail trying to get me to go but I haven't been yet. That said, my wife highly recommends this sculpture garden. She's seen a lot of art in her day (she's lived in Europe, China, and Africa) and was still amazed and very excited by this local wonder of ours. Don't hesitate to check it out one weekend or weekday afternoon. more

This is a really nice sculpture gallery with a lot of nice contemporary work. The work appeals to all kinds of art enthusiasts, so there is something for everyone. It's a great place to take the family and spend the afternoon immersed in wonderful art. They have a nice cafe inside as well, which is a great place to grab a bite and relax. I enjoyed the recorded tour when I went there, but I found most people not using it. more

Nasher Scuplture Center 8/18/2005

Nasher's collection on display here is really fabulous. The outdoor section is the best, with its eye-catching and life-size works. Inside, you'll find whatever touring/temporary works may be on display, and there is an onsite cafe. You can pay extra for a recorded tour, and you can get a slight discount on admission if you also pay to visit the DMA. more

Stunning 7/28/2005

This place features amazing sculptures done by amazing people. There are beautiful and even strange sculptures all across this museum. Some of the sculpted furniture is really neat looking, as well as the human forms sculpted out of unique materials. Younger children would probably not appreciate all of the designs, but I still think it is a great place to take the entire family for a cultured weekend. more
