After weeks of research, I ended up at Myotherapy; the admissions rep. said that I was his hardest sell ever! Here's why I love it there: 1- small school = 1-on-1 (or nearly) attention. The administrators learned my name before I even signed up, and some of my classes had as few as 3 people in it (including me). 2- Customize your program. While some classes are core/required, you can choose to supplement with the classes that you want - Herbology, Aromatherapy, Spinal Touch, Reiki, Pregnancy/Infant massage, Spa Techniques, Cranial, etc. 3- I felt the most comfortable there. The school values and teaches energy work, which is an amazing field and completely essential to my job as a therapist! Some schools don't teach this necessity. 4 - The teachers at Myotherapy are still in practice. This means that they are up-to-date on industry trends and new research. If you are looking for an excellent education in Massage Therapy, then this is the place for you! The instructors are very knowledgeable as well as helpful.
