Move Cheap Cincinnati Movers

I do not work for Move Cheap Cincy nor do I know any of them personally. I have used move cheap cincinnati THREE times and EVERY SINGLE time they have been fantastic. I have never an item broken nor a wall dinged. Don't listen to these bitter, grouchy reviewers on this forum! I received nothing but timely, quality, and affordable service. I have had six different guys over the years move my stuff, so I have come into contact with most of their employees. They are extremely hard workers and very polite and professional. This is hands down the best moving company in Cincinnati. There are NO hidden fees. You rent the uhaul and they charge by the hour for their labor. Of course if you have more stuff than you originally told them, it will take longer and you will have to pay for their work. Also I always schedule my move as their first appt, so that I don't have to worry about getting time pushed back. No moving company can guarantee that their last appt in the day won't be delayed somewhat. I know they work as hard and efficiently as they can to stay on time. more

Had a bad experience with them moving some heavy furniture and a piano. Told them in advance they were moving a piano and it was heavy. They showed up the day of the move without a furniture dolly and said they thought about bringing one, but didn't they they needed it. Needless to say they put some good scratches/dents on my hardwood floor. I'm a little upset about it, but what I'm more upset about is the fact that they keep blowing me off and never return calls. They claim their insurance is going to take care of it, but I think they're hoping I will just go away so they won't have to pay to fix the damages caused by their incompetence. They were cheap all right, but if you run into any problems, don't expect any kind of resolution. The risk is all on you. more

NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Trust me. \r \r I made a reservation with Move Cheap over a month ago to move me from Loveland to Covington on 6/30/12 at 1:00 PM. On 6/29/12 at 4:00 PM I confirmed with the company that they would be arriving the next day at 1:00 PM. \r \r At 1:05 PM the day of the move, I got a voicemail from the company (Tony) saying the following: \r \r ""Hi ____ this is Tony from Move Cheap. I was wanting to call and let you know that we're running behind today. With the storm yesterday it uh really put us behind. We went to this customer's house and she had a lot more stuff than we thought. So uh, we were hoping that we could show up to your house about 4:00. Uh, if there are any issues or anything, just give me a call. My name is Tony, number is _______. Thank you."" At 1:06PM I returned Tony's call, only to get no answer. \r \r Seriously?! They called me five minutes AFTER they were supposed to show up and said they were thinking they could show up three hours LATER?! Keep in mind I had a U-Haul sitting in my parking lot that I had reserved for six hours. \r \r I completely understand that things happen that are outside of a company's control. Yes - the storms the night before may have caused them to have to push a Friday night move to Saturday. And yes - they may have under estimated the time it would take to move a customer that had a reservation before me. But either way, there is NO EXCUSE for calling me at 1:05 to let me know that they were running three hours late. When they realized Friday night they would need to push back the Friday appointment to Saturday, they should have called me immediately. And when they started to realize that the customer had more belongings than they thought, they should have called me immediately. \r \r MOVE CHEAP TRULY RUINED MY ENTIRE WEEKEND. My boyfriend, myself, and my 55 year-old mother had to move every item from my two bedroom home. We did not finish moving until after midnight, and I had to pay extra fees to the U-Haul company for not having the truck back in time. \r \r Please, trust me - do NOT use this company. \r \r more

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Move Cheap. From the time I booked my move with them through completion of their services. I feel like they were really on their game! The two men who came were very polite and professional. This was the third move I've ever had, and I wish I had called theses guys the first two times. more

I had an exceptionally pleasant experience with Move Cheap. I am recently divorced and had to move my stuff last minute. The men who came were quick, courteous, and helped me move through a bad situation. As odd as this sounds, the movers were the best part of my divorce! Tell Shane & Corry I said thank you! more

Very unprofessional! They were not careful bringing the furniture down the stairs and there there was an unreasonable amount of dirty hand print and scuff marks all down the wall. When I brought it to the movers attention and asked if he would clean the walls when he was done, he said ""No I am not a cleaner."" When I asked what would be done about the walls he said, ""Why don't you move the f**king boxes yourself, walls get dirty when there is large furniture."" I did call the owner, and to his credit he was professional and did promise to send someone out in a few days to clean the walls if the rude mover didn't do it. However, the movers should be trained either by the owner or their mothers not to treat clients poorly. more

I have so many regrets about using this company. The movers were unprofessional and poorly trained. Not only did they damage my furniture getting it down the stairs but when it came time to unload 75% of my furniture was damaged. And 2 1/2 months later I still don't have my insurance claim reimbursement. \r \r Do not use Move Cheap!!! more

I did some research on this moving company before I went to hire them and thought some informtion should be brought to the attention to any customer looking to use this Move Cheap company. \r \r This moving company is involved in an on going investigation with the Boone County Sheriffs Department for theft of a firearm and that one of his employees has a warrant for his arrest for the theft of that gun. \r \r So before using this company make sure you do some serious background checks, unless you want your stuff to never make it to your home. more

My wife and I have moved a few different times in the last 10 years. We've seen good and bad movers, but decided to try Move Cheap because of my brother who had used them 3 months prior. I have NEVER seen 2 guys work as hard or as quick as these 2 guys did. From start to finish they continued to work, but never lost their sense of humor and were very careful through the entire process. I'm hoping this is our last move, but if the need does come, I will be sure to call Move Cheap and will refer them to all of my friends and family. more

I'm shocked to see all the good reviews from this company. We used their services last year after seeing all the good reviews, and yes, they got the job done, but they were about as lazy of movers as you could get. Smoke breaks every 15 minutes, too. We moved again last week and I tried to use their services again, but this experience dropped my decent experience last time to a miserable experience. Our moving truck was delayed, so I called with plenty of time (1.5 hrs) for them to turn around and reschedule. They told us they wouldn't reschedule, and they were already on their way and their guys don't carry cell phones, so there was no way to reach them. When they arrived 30 minutes late, they wanted to charge us the full amount -- I contested, and they both pulled out their *cell phones* to call their boss. If you ask me, when the owner flat out lies to you over the phone, they're running a shady business. Pay the extra for professionals willing to have some flexibility. I've moved a few times before, but most movers were never as friendly or respectful as Move Cheap. I came up from Tennessee and was a little later than I planned and my family up here could no longer help. A quick search online, and they were at my apartment in 2 hours. I've never had movers who were so polite and willing to make sure I had a good experience. They unloaded my truck in a little under 2.5 hours and gave me the lowest moving bill I've ever been given. Great company all the way around. Pros: Quick, Cheap, Friendly, Efficient, Professional more
