Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection did a simple bathroom plumbing job for me and executed it well. They installed a new toilet for me and did a great job. I shopped around in their store and they assisted me and showed me which toilet would be best for me. They provide outstanding customer service, Scotty at Monona Plumbing is one of the best guys I've ever met. If I ever have any problems, they're the first ones I will call. more

Professional and Fair Prices 3/16/2016

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection came out to my home to replace a hot water heater. The price for the service was fair. The plumbers were professional, on time and cleaned up behind themselves. I am pleased with the results - no problems since the last appointment, a very smooth process - an easy company to deal with. more

Very efficient 2/23/2016

I had to have my sewer lateral replaced and I used Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection. They had to fully diagnose the problem, they dug up the yard, replaced the sewer lateral and waterline and put it back in. They also fixed my lower bath. They said when they'd be there, the date and time and were on time and able to do it in one day. more

Good Company Fair Prices 2/12/2016

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection had a person who was on call to come out to my home for a late night emergency plumbing; a faucet in my kitchen had malfunctioned, water backed up and ran out onto the kitchen floor. The plumber who came out was professional, prompt and was able to explain what was going on and solve the issue I was having. I think their prices were competitive. They've also repaired 2 toilets. I am pleased with the outcome and will use them again. more

Professional, respecftul and excellent work. 12/18/2015

I already have recommend Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection. Not only were they very timely but the man that came to help us, he called the day before and even that morning to let us know when exactly he would be here. He was right on time and he was really good. The issue that we had, he took care of really well and he explained it very well. It was a unique situation that we had and he came up with an amazing answer for us, not only for my husband who dealt with him mostly, but also for me. Sometimes people treat women or other people differently because they don't know the technical stuff but he never acted like that, he was easy to work with and so respectful. I usually don't do reviews, but I wanted to do one for Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection because he was so great. more

Was above and beyond what I expected 11/11/2015

Over the summer, I had a leak that burst and covered my entire kitchen floor with water. I had a reverse osmosis watering unit that hadn't been used for the last nine years and apparently one of the cartridges had cracked. The unit was leaking slowly for a long period of time until finally it just burst altogether. I called the company I got the unit from but was told that they don't do repairs for the unit. They referred me to Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection and I gave them a call right away. The man I spoke with was very pleasant to talk to and was able to get someone out to my home very very quickly. The repairman came out within a very short time of the call and fixed the unit in no time. I paid around $100 for the service call and repair, which I thought was quite reasonable. Overall, excellent service from Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection. They went above and beyond my expectations and I would not hesitate to call them again! more

Prompt, efficient, and friendly. 10/6/2015

I called Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection when I had an issue with my clogged sink. The plumber arrived within the hour and got to work. He was efficient and very pleasant. He had to remove two pipes to resolve the issue, but he explained it very well and showed me how to prevent future problems. He did a wonderful job; I have had no issues with the sink since. The prices were fair. more

Very Satisfied! 9/24/2015

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection has done work for me in the past. This time around, they were very accommodating to different schedules - my schedule and coordinating the work with the local city utility, to replace the water meter and both shut of bells in each side of it. Monona worked to get all the coordination done with the right people at the right time and place. It worked out great and every time I turn the water off, I smile. Ask for a quote! more

Excellent, very satisfied 9/14/2015

I have been a satisfied customer of Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for the past five years. Most recently, a technician replaced some water valves in the basement. He quickly diagnosed the problem and took care of it. Everyone on staff is very professional. The service is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and the work is worth the price. Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection has a great reputation because they deliver great service. more

Monona Plumbing is really quick and professional. I always use them. Once, they came back because they forgot to hook a water pipe the first time, replace the spigot and didn't charge me for any of that because they had to come back. I recommended them to my neighbor and they did an amazing job for her as well! more

Service for Navien water heater 8/20/2015

We had a problem with our Navien tankless water heater. Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection is one of the only plumbing companies in our area with a great deal of expertise with this type of water heater. Everyone on staff was polite and courteous. They were able to schedule our service promptly and the technician was very knowledgeable about the product. The work was completed within the day and the service was a great value for the price we paid. I recommend Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection for great service. more

No surprises, fairly upfront and easy to work with! 8/19/2015

From the get-go Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection was upfront. The serviceman kept the appointment and was early, so everything worked out fine. He repaired a leaking faucet in the kitchen and cleaned up after himself. The pricing was very workable and fair. There weren't really any surprises, was fairly upfront and easy to work with. more

This was my first time using Monona. They were really quick to respond to my calls. They came with a quote that I consider fair. They completed all of the work. It didn't go exactly according to plan, but that was due to no fault of their own. They were able to fix it. They handled any issues that came up along the way. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their customer service and the work they did. more

Very excellent service 6/29/2015

I remember Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection because years ago I had a huge problem in my basement. They were one of the few places that called back right away and had prompt service. Since then, I have called them a couple times. They are always prompt. The plumber is very nice and answers all of my questions. I have recommended them to a couple of people before. I also did some remodeling recently and I was worried about problems I might have. He fixed some of those problems and he even checked out the basement to make sure there was no lead because my house is very old. He was very nice about doing a little extra work. Overall, they have very excellent service. more

Very Professional and Honest. 6/12/2015

Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection came recommended to me by another plumber from a competing service. We had them out the first time to look at a problem with plumbing. They were honest about what should be repaired and replaced, which I appreciated. When it came time for the next service, which actually occurred when they said it would happen, I used them again. They gave me a very good deal on a replacement water softener. I would recommend their service. more
