Mike Shaw Buick Pontiac GMC

I never review places but this was such a bad experience I had to. I went into the parts department yesterday to purchase a diesel fuel filter for my duramax diesel. I walk up to the parts counter and literally waited over 5 minutes despite being seen by the lazy employee when I first walked up. Without saying hi or anything he slowly comes to the counter and asks what I want. So I ask for the fuel filter. He walks slowly away. Then yelling from his computer he asked me if I way paying via Cash/Check/Charge. Then he slowly returns with the fuel filter and an invoice. They literally wanted to charge me over $59 for this fuel filter. Which every other dealership I have purchased it from along the front range only charged me $30 to $40 dollars. I asked him if there was a price increase on the filter. He rudely answered that they have always been this price. I informed him that I could pick these up for around $30. Without flinching he rudely says "so you don't want it?". Of course not. Who wants to pay nearly double? You can pick these filters up DIRECTLY from GM online for $31.19 at gmpartsdirect.com so of course I won't be buying from Mike Shaw anytime soon. What is wrong with these people? Taking advantage of soldiers is what I think this place is about. Typical for a military town. I read a couple other reviews where other employees/staff were just as rude. So unless you are none too smart and you don't know the value of a buck DO NOT SHOP at Mike Shaw. Shame on you Mike Shaw... Shame. more

Bought a car from the dealer ship late in the evening, next morning clutches went out, called, and they refused to help. I got what I got. Never ever go there again. more

I went with a friend to Mike Shaw GMC when they had a sale at the World Arena. My female friend was treated fairly by the sales rep. She ended up buying a GMC certiified vehicle. I wonder how a vehicle qualifies as certified as we later found out that the tires were legally bald and that one of the daylight running lights was out. Also there ended up being a problem with the title and it took longer then it should have to be able to register the vehicle. more
