Very frustrating experience here. Waited 5 hours for my service, even with appt. I've been here before and it was fine but had to ask every 45 min or so and was promised another ""30 or 40 min"". I came at noon and wasn't out of there until around 5 pm. They gave me a free oil change for next time, but it was pretty exasperating to wait so long and wish they'd been up front about it at the time I made the appt. more

Highly Recommended! I live in Park City and needed my powerstering pump replaced. All of the Park City auto repair shops wanted between $425 to $475 and they all wanted to sell me extras that were not needed. I spent $210 here. Rich is honest and was willing to talk. I would have done the work myself if it was summer because have worked around garages all my life. However this broke during the winter. I will be recommending this shop to everyone. more

I highly recommend Midas on Main Street for all of your auto repair needs. I have used them for multiple things and most recently I just had a simply oil change done. They were, as always, very professional and honest and the price was perfect. There is no where else I would take my car. more

We broke down near Temple Square. I called their shop and it was close to closing. The tech and the owner came to our car and helped us. It saved us towing and the car was fixed in a half hour. Wonderful friendly more

the owner gave me a quote for an item i gave him permission to do the work and then when i wen to pick up my vehicle they were trying to charge me an extra 200 dollars for a part i didn't gave them permission to install the owner was rude and yelled at me all over apart that was irrelevant to the initial repair ,we owned a whole fleet of vehicles and we'll never give him our business again. more

These guys are a new family owned shop as of late 2010 and very trustworthy! They'll even show you the problem so you know what they're doing. I am a female and it's taken me four years living in salt lake to find a place I feel comfortable at and I am very pleased with them! more

I have used Midas for years because I got a lifetime warrenty on brakes, but I noticed a distinct change for the good when the new manager/ownership took over. My average bills are now half what the previous owner charged.They always accomodate me even when I drop in, if I am willing to wait. Their work is high quality and their prices are reasonable. If for some reason I have a problem after they have done repairs, they work with me until it is right and never charge me extra. I called this shop when the Midas in Maui charged me exorbitant prices and they told me which charges were reasonable and which ones were gouging and what work absolutely needed to be done. They gave me hints to save money at the Maui shop like buying the part I needed and letting them do the work--the price changed drastically. I also called them from Seattle when the Midas there was suggesting many repairs. He told me what had to be done and what I could wait on and reasonable prices for the service they were providing. This gave me a negotiating tool and the Seattle Midas adjusted my bill a great deal. Pros: Honest, prompt service, stand behind their work Cons: Charges for rags if I don't complain. more
