Would highly recommend to other people because they delivered exactly what they promised. Their expertise helped immensely to find the leaks in the plumbing. They were there on time and the charges were very reasonable. I'll definitely use them again. more

WHAT A SCAM! 10/20/2011

Late afternoon appointment. Came very clean (curious how he stayed so clean, later I found out.) The leak was by the faucet outside. He turned on the water. We saw water by the faucet, but told me he couldn't determine where the leak was. It would cost $359-$797 to locate the leak, then an additional charge to fix it. For this information, I had to pay $49. no wonder he stayed so clean, no work! I decided to contact another plumbing company (Schrade.) Up front they told me $95 an hour. Started digging, located the leak, repaired it and fixed a toilet problem, all for under $300!! Guess who I'll be contacting for future repairs, NOT METRO FLOW! I called their office the next day and was told they never do any digging without running air in the line to determine exactly where the leak was. $49 easy money for them! more

A Reality Check 2/4/2011

I've noticed that a lot of reviews about this company are negative, and that some of these reviews based primarily on price point. Yes, this plumbing service is more expensive than...say... a Home Shields Warrenty, but...goodness what a difference! After purchasing a foreclosure property, my husband and I experienced a myriad of water leak problems. Being a modestly responsible person, I kept up a Home Warrenty, but began to become very disillusioned with the service provided. It seemed A LOT of our problems were not covered, but we still had to pay the $60.00 fee, and there was no real way to deduce what was covered until the serviceman showed up. Now people, that is a rip off!!!! Metro Flow shows up ON TIME and fixes your problem then and there. The servicemen are professionals, and LISTEN to your details no matter how mundane. I suppose any company messes up now and then, but let you tell you, when your ceiling is leaking water during an icestorm, and a plumber shows up within the h more

RIP OFF!!!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!RIP OFF!!!!!! 3/12/2010

These guys are a JOKE!!! What a RIP OFF!! I just had one of these practical jokers (so called plumbers) come to my house to install a one hole kitchen faucet and he quoted me $267 for the install, $50 service fee (btw - he was next door before he got to me) and then indicated that I would need a new flex line compression fitting and two new shut off valves for arounf $400 additional dollars. That's right, OVER $700 dollars to replace a one hole kitchen faucet that I was supplying. Got stuck with paying the $50 sevice fee (for coming so far - next door)I told them to shove off. What a bunch of CROOKS!! more

Dishonest Practices and High Estimates 3/12/2009

Metro-Flow started out on the right foot by seeming friendly on the phone when I first called, however, I will never be calling again. After claiming that they wouldn't be late, they were of course 45 minutes lates. Further, their estimates are astronomical and they try to cover that up by offering a variety of convoluted ""discount"" programs. Also, they charge a $49 ""service fee"" just for giving you the high cost estimates. When I asked for the fee to be refunded, the owner was rude and argumentative with me and basically hung up on me. I think these guys are dishonest and try to take advantage of customers that don't know much about plumbing. Basically, I was told that it would cost $267 to install my kitchen faucet, $269 to hook up my gas stove, $267 for the sink basket, and $450-800 for a new garbage disposal. They also wanted to charge $200 to cut into my wall to check out a potential problem. The guys that came out were very nice, but I feel like they've been taught to up-sell and seize an opportunity to create more work for themselves. Cons: Rude, high prices, dishonest practices more
