Maxfield's Is The Best 5/9/2012

These guys have rebuilt and maintained the sprinkler system at our home - where I built a complex landscape of rock gardens, walled gardens, wildflower areas, as well as a meandering lawn going through all of this - for 15 years.\r \r They have never sent a "drunk" plumber here, as the other reviewer posted happened to him/her. \r \r We have had nothing but the best experience with fair pricing from Maxfiled's. The fact you have to wait days to get a sprinkler appointment in May ought to be indication enough as to how good they are. If you need help on outdoor watering systems, call them. more

Expensive and Messy 1/19/2011

Expensive: Charged extra $55 because he needed to go buy a piece of wood. Total bill was $305, of that $290 was labor. The job took less than 2 hours, and that includes the trip for wood and two long phone calls. It was an easy job. Skilled plumber wouldn't have taken an hour. Messy: Left a mess inside for me to clean up. Walked outside to see rust stains all over my concrete. What a joke!!!! more

Worst company ever... 8/13/2007

I would never recommend this plumbing company to anyone. My one and only experience with this company came at the hands of a drunk plumber. I was shocked and outraged that a licensed company would allow an employee to work under the influence. Needless to say, I turned the work away and called someone else. I would not trust someone to do expensive work on my house that absolutely reeks of alcohol. If you choose to use this company, be sure your plumber is sober.
