Martina's Flowers & Gifts

Ordered flowers for a friend based on their picture on the internet. Arrangement looked nothing like the arrangement I picked out. The colors of the flowers were pastel, not at all what I wanted. Looked like something from a supermarket. It sure would be nice to find a florist that can create unique arrangements for the premium they charge, I could do it myself much better. Waste of $54.00! more

Christmas eve they leave a message on my phone. Saying" I am a driver for Martinaz or Martinis or something like that. I just left a gift on your porch, call us to let us know you got it. it is 11:40. No telephone number, name of company nothing. Then I find out maybe Martinas Flowers I try to call to thell them I DID NOT GET MY GIFT. They are closed at 12:00 no way to contact an employee, owner, driver, emergency person - nothing until next week. Thanks to this shop I have no Christmas gift - the only one I will recieve. THEY RUINED MY CHRISTMAS!!!! I AM 62 YEARS OLD IN POOR HEALTH AND DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I WILL HAVE ANOTHER. DON'T USE THIS SHOP!! READ THE OTHER REVIEWS THEY ARE BAD TOO. DENISE more

Ridiculously overpriced and-without exception-horrible, half-dead arrangements. First tried Martina's when we moved to the area in 1990 because they had such a great reputation. Twenty years later and I have no idea why. A few days ago I received 2 arrangements for my birthday from out of state relatives and they were ugly, are already dead, and look nothing like the pics my relatives ordered from. How do you tell loved ones that they just spent $70 on something so horrible? I would only recommend Martina's if the message you want the flowers to convey is "I hate you and I hope you have a horrible day." The only explanation I can think of for the few good reviews they have is that those people were unusually lucky or they are employees of Martina's. I only gave them one star because there is no negative star option. more

If I ever need to send flowers to the hospital, to a funeral or for most any event I call Martina's Flower's and Gifts http://www.martinas.com in Martinez, GA. The area I live in is centered around the Savannah River and is called the Central Savannah River Area or CSRA. Augusta is the largest city on the Georgia side of the river and North Augusta and Aiken are the two largest on the SC side. But the CSRA is comprised of many smaller towns on both sides of the river and we shop all over. What I like about Martina's is the prices are great and I have never ordered anything that was skimpy on flowers. The flowers are also fresh and last forever. The other thing I like is I can go online and go through the arrangements and see what I like and what the prices are before I call. Then I have an idea of what I want before I call them. If some of the flowers I have picked are not in season the folks at Martina's will always tell me which ones are not available and what they can use to replace them. They tell me up front about extra cost if flowers are being sent out of town and I have never had any problems with being over charged or flowers being late. I order my flowers, they put it on my account and mail me a bill for what ever the amount is. I don't have to put it on a credit card, I can just mail them a check. They handled all the flowers for my mother's funeral and I can honestly say everything they did was beautiful and the flowers lasted through the whole thing. That was a tall order too, because Mom's funeral was done in two parts. Saturday we had part one here in North Augusta and then a small graveside service in Greenville, SC on Sunday for her friends and family where she was born and where she and my Dad are buried. Even though there are several florist in North Augusta, and I have used them in the past, I still go to Martina's for most of my flower needs. You just can't beat them. more

i went in to order flowers to be delivered to my future mother in law in ny who could not travel to be here on our wedding, they assured me the flowers would be delivered on the day we were married....when i later spoke with my now mother-in-law and we enquired about the flowers she was confused -she never got them. they simply forgot to put in the order, is what we were told. that is no way to do business and they lost my business forever with this one huge over sight. more
