We've had Marr's Heating working with our gas furnaces and gas freestanding stove for about 10 years. They've done all of our servicing. They are always prompt, and come when they say they'll be here. We've always had very good, knowledgeable and informative technicians. They are also good about following-up with us after the appointment. Recently, we had an exceptionally informative young man come out and he was able to solve the problem we had. Barbara & Jim more

sorry that his name has slipped from my memory, but we did find him thorough, courteous, and not above a little humor. after working on the furnace, he adjusted our fireplace flame and showed us how to control it more effectively, something that we appreciated very much, because we use our fireplace quite frequently more

Having worked closely with Marr's on a variety of projects, it's easy to see why they are one of the best in the area and best in the business. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent work. 5/9/2012

The tech was professional and courteous and keep me well informed about what he was doing. The office staff made it easy to set up an appointment and they answered all my questions about the invoice. Both the annual service call (check-up appointment) and the service call to fix a broken part of my furnace were excellent. I will continue to use Marr and recommend them to others. more

I was very well-pleased with Ken Marrs of Marr's Heating. I had a lot of questions, and Ken was very patient with me and explained everything to me. If there was something he didn't know the answer to, he'd research it and then get back to me. I also did some comparison shopping as well, and what I really liked was that Ken broke down and itemized exactly what he would do compared to others. I was very happy that I decided to use Ken's company, and would absolutely use him again. more

Personable and polite. 3/29/2012

Ken Marr of Marr's Heating, is a very personable man. He is is very thorough and really tries especially hard to customize the heating system to what you want, and to help save you money too. He tailors it to what your needs are, and what you want economically. The only reason I gave a 4 for service is because at the very start of the job, he tended to leave us hanging before returning our calls, but that's the only thing that keeps me from rating them higher in that category. Otherwise, it was a good experience and we are very satisfied. more

Very prompt, friendly, and professional service 3/10/2011

We have relied on Marr's Heating on two occasions. The first time was to replace a condemned furnace. I was very impressed by Ken Marr's integrity. He persuaded us to install a less expensive option than the one we wanted. The second occasion was an emergency and Marr's responded right away. The service tech diagnosed the problem with our furnace and had it up and running. They also were able to go back to the manufacturer for us to obtained warranty parts saving us a substantial sum of money. We are very satisfied. more

I have always be treated professionally, resonably invoices, never had to clean up after the service techs., they were always promptly on time and very knowledgable! Pros: Excellent pricing, cleanliness, promptness, knowledgable Cons: None! more

Waste of time and money 2/25/2010

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a local small business. They misdiagnosed the problem with our furnace over and over, the owner told my husband he didn't have confidence in the job that was done by his tech on the first visit BUT STILL CHARGED US. He then kept sending the same guy back out, after we told him not to send that guy, and KEPT CHARGING US. our furnace is in the same state as when they started but Ken Marr is insisting we owe him over $400. Pros: local company Cons: poor customer service, owner admitted staff incompetence more
