M Vista is delicious! Great meals and awesome sushi. But beware, going to M Vista without a reservation could mean quite the wait. I have always experienced good service at M Vista. No doubt- my favorite place for sushi in Columbia. Try the spider roll! more

Best Chinese food in the Midlands 6/13/2011

M. Vista is near my office and is one of my favorite lunch spots. The quality of the food is exceptional - only the best ingredients, and it's easy to tell. The Thai Basil Chicken, Szechuan Beef and Ginger Chicken are my favorites. At dinner time I love to get the calamari - it sets the standard by which I judge all other calamari appetizers. I've never found one that comes close. You have to try it to believe it! more

First Choice, Best Restaurant 6/9/2011

M. Vista is our go to restaurant. I can say that about any of the restaurants Michelle owns, such as Miyo's on Forest, Sandhills, Sumter Street M. Cafe, Main Street, Harbison and Lexington. I have never had a bad meal or experience in any of Michelle's restaurants. You will love the variety. Try the sushi please! Ask for the M. Vista roll--it's not on the menu, and it is amazing. I suggest you try something you would not ordinarily order such as the apple and shrimp salad. I frequent one of Michelle's restaurants at least once per week, sometimes more. Enjoy!! more

Consistantly Perfect 6/8/2011

Pick any one of the restaurants in the group, Vista, Sandhills, columbiana, and you will recieve the same fresh, consistant quality. Buying the best proves to equate to return business. I see so many restaurants fush quality away to save a few pennies per pound. Not the M-vista group. Service is always top notch with servers who hustle. May I suggest to start with the Black Berry Cabernet sorbet to START with!!! The beef is always tender and the Sea bass always cooked to perfection. If you have a bad expierience, you may have come in looking for one!! :) more

Best Chinese restaurants in SC 6/7/2011

We are extremely fortunate to have world-class Chinese food in Columbia, South Carolina thanks to Michelle Wang and the Miyo's family of restaurants. Michelle's attention to detail and extraordinary work ethic make all of her restaurants outstanding places to dine. Whether for a nice dinner on a special occasion, a quick lunch, or take-out after a long day at work, Miyo's is consistently excellent. more

Columbia's Best Asian Dining! 6/7/2011

Every chance I get to go out with my friends, I always take the opportunity to take them to M Vista. It's located right in the heart of the Vista, across from the Ale House on Lady. Best sushi in Columbia, hands down. The deals are great, the food is fresh, servers are knowledgeable and friendly, and its the perfect atmosphere for large parties or a first date. For dinner, I always get the spring rolls, and an assortment of maki rolls and sushi. The absolute best meal, doesn't leave you stuffed to the gills, and great to start out a night with friends. If you've been there before, you know what I'm talking about, and if you have yet to go, what are you waiting for?! more
