Never Again! 3/5/2011

I will never walk through the door of this establishment again. Food was a little pricey for the quality and atmosphere, wait staff are slow, incompetent and RUDE. When we complained they argued with us. What ever happened to ""the customer is always right"" kind of service. These people had no interest in our satisfaction. Someone should teach them how to treat paying customers. more

Best Italian in Vegas 5/9/2010

We've been to Lucio's several times and have also brought friends and family. We love it, as have everyone we have taken there. The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient.\r \r The Chicken Sorrentina is especially good, as is the Cioppino (did I spell that right?). Their tiramisu is the best I've ever had. Try the appetizer rice balls - never heard of them before but, boy, were they a treat! And the bruschetta is so garlicky and very good (the one with the tomatoes, not the cheese).\r \r Great place, nice atmosphere, wonderful food. Pros: Great Food more

Wonderful Experience 2/27/2010

I took my husband to Lucio's last night at the suggestion of a friend. We were pleasantly surprised when we stepped through the door and found a very intimate restaurant. Our server (Alex) took great care to help us select just the right entree and bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. After reading earlier comments, it sounds like the restaurant has gotten much better after several years of being open. We would definitely go back! Pros: Service and Ambiance Cons: really none more

love this restaurant 3/5/2009

From the moment you are greeted by the owner, Lucio, to my after dinner drink I loved this neighborhood restaurant. The gnocchis are to die for and the specials are always a treat. I could eat here three times a week and not ever grow tired of the food and wonderful service more

excellent menu choices 2/2/2008

The ambiance is lovely, the service is great and the food is delicious. We bring out of town visitors here as well as to strip restaurants and when they come back to vegas, they all ask to return to Lucios. more

pesty cappucino anyone? 9/21/2007

I took my best friend there for a birthday dessert and coffee. After seeing the Zagat rating posted i had high hopes, i was let down. After waiting 10 minutes for our server who seated us to come back and take our order we was irritated but things happen. Neither of us ordered a dessert that had to be cooked so after 15 minutes of waiting for dessert because that was all we ordered we were pleasantly surprised. Her chocolate truffle was good nothing spectacular but good. My chocolate mousse was ok it was a chocolate mousse pie which wasn't what i was expecting. After things picked up with dessert the cappuccinos we ordered came quickly. As my friend was talking to me i was adding sugar and stirring my cappuccino so sweeten it and cool it off when a large black hard shelled six legged mass floated to the top. After spooning it out i realized that there was something in my beverage. The waiter comped my cappuccino obviously but never apologized or asked if there would be anything else i needed. I've heard of French waiters with an attitude but this was the most arrogant and haughty Italian waiter i've ever encountered. Cons: food, service, atmosphere more

Great ambience not so great food 3/3/2005

I took my boyfriend for his birthday. We were seated in a cozy little area off to the left of the band. The jazz music was a little loud for it to be very romantic, we could hardly hear each other talking. After about 10 minutes after we sat down, we finally decided what we wanted to eat. In the mean time, we weren't even greeted by our waiter. He had the risotto....which is supposedly their specialty. NO FLAVOR! I had the artichoke lasagna....not wonderful but not that bad - just not enough flavor. We decided to skip the dessert! Great place for having a drink and enjoying the music...that's probably about it. Pros: great ambiance, live jazz music Cons: food is bland, small more

Very Disappointed 2/16/2004

We saw that this restaurant was rated one of the most romantic restaurants. One word for it; TERRIBLE. The service was the worse we have ever seen. It took about 15 minutes for a waiter to come to the table. We ordered a salad before our meal and we never received it. The waiter never came by to ask us if we needed anything. I am one not to complain about food. The seabass was raw inside and had no taste. The pasta was too oily. No one asked us if we enjoyed our meal or not. I would not suggest this place at all. We should have gone to the Outback right next door and enjoyed a wonderful steak. Pros: Ambiance, Bruschetta Cons: , Food, Price more

Long drive for nothing 12/4/2002

Dreadful. This restaurant specializes in risotto-completely tasteless. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. An ordr of expresso could barely fill a thimble. Certainly not worth the long drive from the strip. more
