First time brazilan (extended) 3/2/2012

I have never had any waxing experience, but figured I could use one since Trubates offered a sweet deal. . When looking for the place i got lost, as this salon is located in a residential neighborhood (yes, the salon is in the bottom level of a house). but the waxing room was very clean, professional and comfortable. . Srhada (sp?) was the one how took care of my waxing, and was really nice, calm, and soothing which made my first time waxing smooth sailing. definitely coming back again. more

Lucia's is the only place I go when I need to get waxed. She and her assistants are always ready for appointments on time. Whats more, they are easy to talk to and make the experience comfortable, when in such a personal and potentially awkward situation. I highly recommend Lucia's to my friends. more

Made appt w/ Lucia, but she was giving a facial for another client, so Sraddha took care of me. I was nervous at first, but Sraddha is as good as Lucia in brazillian wax: fast & no pain. Thanks Sraddha! more

I just moved to the Eastbay and was looking for a good esthetician so I reread the reviews and went to see Lucia...WOW, she is nice, accomodating, fast, virtually pain free,has the BEST wax formula and tecnique I have ever experienced!!! I will be going back and HIGHLY reccomend her!!! Thank you Lucia it was nice to meet you and you truly made the experience stress free! more

Lucia is really very skilled at waxing. She is actually the only person who has never bruised me (I bruise easily) She uses very good quality wax and she is very proficient. She has obviously been doing it a long time but she is attentive and tells you when to breathe etc to make it as comfortable as possible. Its very professional (clean neat etc) as well as being a very private setting, under her house in a residential neighborhood but I understand she is moving to Downtown Oakland. more

My eyebrows look fantastic! I was concerned about the pain I would have with getting my them tattooed, but Lucia made it so easy for me. She made me feel comfortable and the environment was clean and relaxing. I flew all the way from Washington to see her, and it was worth it!!! more

I found Lucia through Living Social, and I'm very glad that I did. Not only is she very fast, but she is incredibly warm and easy to talk to. Quickest waxing I've ever received (thorough too). I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. more

Lucia is knowledgable about skin. This is not some fancy spa, this is a place where you go for a real facial. She knows skin and my face looked great afterwards. It was my first time seeing her and I'll definitely go back! more

Great Acne Facial 12/19/2011

I have battled with acne since i was 12 and have been to a bunch of acne facials throughout my time. Lucia does a great job with cleaning out my pores and leaving my skin with a really refreshed feeling. The next day you cant even tell i had an acne facial and my face clears up immediately. I will not go to anyone else now that i have met Lucia :) more

This was my first wax and I went Brazilian so I was a little nervous. Lucia was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly and made me feel very comfortable, and I gotta say...it wasn't that bad! Two thumbs up from me, I'll definitely be back. more
