This college used to be the old UCLA campus at one point and even though it isn't in the best area it has good teachers, a metrolink stop, freeway access as well as day and night classes. The school has it quirks, like it used to have a stadium but they paved over the grass to make a parking lot for the teachers. But the film program is outstanding and worth the price. Some of the best teachers work in the department and it's so cheap to go to community college! This school is a little gem. more

a great community college 11/14/2005

I took my chemistry class in this college for one semester. The chemistry department is wonderful! They have a large building for the lecture halls and labs. The equipments are not the best, but they have the most essential equipments, like all kinds of spectrum machines. If you take your organic chemistry there, you will be able to learn how to use them. The professors are great! They are nice and willing to help. Take your chem class here, it might be hard, but you will learn something. The only thing I don't like about this college is its location. It is in downtown LA. Traffic is a big problem when you go to school in the morning more
