Dr. Lisa Dresner is what a surgeon should be. She is a fantastic diagnostician, as well as surgeon. She chooses carefully when it is appropriate to operate vs. when watchful waiting or medical management is more appropriate. All her patients feel like they have been heard and treated with respect. She also appears to treat her residents with respect -- which increases my trust in her as my primary surgeon. If the world was made of surgeons like Dr. Dresner, there would be no lawsuits against them - because the caring comes through quite obviously.
