Since there are no zoo's in Vegas we come here to see animals. Haa haaa-just kidding. My kids love to come in to pet the bunny's. They have been asking for one for the longest time, but since I don't want to add anymore chores to my list of things to do, we come in to visit them on a regular basis! We have a ""pet"" fish so we come in to buy fish food. The doggies are so adorable. We have seen and held a few puppies and the staff has always been very courteous, helpful, and nice.\r more

People have the perception that pet stores don't have heart. But this place does research on the puppies they bring in. They bring a vet in to check all the puppies and keep the place clean and try to provide as much love to these puppies until they get a loving home.\r more

After lunch with my friend he wanted to look at puppies even though we swore off a 4th dog. We came across a 7 month old bulldog girl who was returned because the original purchaser couldn't afford her. We asked Alberto to see her. He is the best sales associate there. He is sweet, enthusiastic and honest. He told us what a great deal she was because she was older and just wanted her to have a good home. SOLD!!! We took her home, brought her to the vet within the 48 hour time frame. She is a beautiful healthy bulldog. But last night she developed a cough. We brought her into the vet and she had gotten kennel cough. We purchased our dog as a final sale, which there is no warranty. But after speaking to the owner Brad, he was great with working with us at making sure we are happy and have a healthy little girl.\r more

I am extremely happy with the service they provide as a pet/feed store. They have adorable puppies, great quality dog food which they feed their puppies and is available to purchase, and are reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Petland over many local breeders. They have heart.\r more

I often go and purchase dog food here. I have 3 dogs already and feed them this great brand Taste Of The Wild. The sales girls are often sweet and I usually know who to speak to. Thankfully. Although i'm not usually a pet store fan I know this place is clean and they treat the animals very well.\r more

I have never heard a businessman shouting so loud at my wife on the phone before, if we were in the shop I'd have given him a squashed up nose like those overpriced feral puppies he sells!!! We will never ever use Petland again! more

Petland is a rip off and only cares about money 4/20/2012

I bought a puppy at petland. The first puppy I bought was full of giardia and required mult. Treatments to rid her of parasites. I thought not much of it and continued to shop at petland. I spent more than a few thousand dollars there over the past year buying food, treats, puppy pads. So I went back to petland to buy another puppy because I thought my dog needed a companion. I spent $650 on another chihuahua. They told me at the store the puppy will get along fine with my other puppy. Unfortunately that wasn't true. My older dog was not liking the new puppy. So I read the receipt and it said I could return the puppy within 24-48 hrs. I returned the puppy so that maybe they could resell her maybe to someone who's otherbdog would be nice to her. When I returned the puppy I asked to speak to a manager which at the time the girl behind the desk said I could call on Monday to talk to the owner about refund. She acted as though the manager was not in the store. However to my surprise the manager was watching the transaction. They took the puppy and never gave me any money back and did nt even provide a service of talking to the manager as the return policy says. These people sell a package for $150 dollars for papers and microchip. They don't even return that not to mention a microchip should only be sold 1 time it's already installed in the puppy. They plan on reselling the puppy and doubling their profit. A family member called to talk to the manager on the phone after I left the store at the time he was available but not when I was in the store and he was watching the transaction. Granted I know that they don't want people returning puppies all the time but I had good intentions toward the puppy. They don't care about the animals only the profit! Not to mention this puppy had feces on her when I bought her and they said they were going to clip her long nails and her paws were swollen and red possibly needing antibiotics. I will never buy as much as a bone there anymore. more

Horrible Management. Worst Experience I had in A Business. 2/5/2012

Review of Horrible Experience in Petland Boca Park Las Vegas, Nevada First off, I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. I had a HORRIBLE experience with the manager, JEFFERY. Not only once. but THREE times I have had an issue with him. He knows nothing of good customer service, and I am surprised that a person like him is in the management position. He is better off cleaning up after the pets rather then dealing directly with customers. My first issue wasn't directly involved with me, but involved another customer and her family being YELLED AT by JEFFERY the manager! This was mid December 2011, I was witnessing such harsh profanity being directed to a nice Asian couple who weren't as good in speaking English. How can a manager YELL at a paying customer? What I saw happen, was there was an accident where a puppy got hurt, and the Asian family felt bad and wanted to purchase the puppy, but Jeffery did not like what happened, and KICKED THEM OUT! Kicked paying customers out of the store. I continued to go to the store to buy my cat and dog things because I chose not to do business with Jeffery, but rather with other pet counselors. My second issue happened just a few weeks ago. Again, not directly to me, but to another coworker! I was buying cat litter for my cat. He was YELLING to a sweet girl who helped me choose the right cat litter for my kitten, then after I was being transferred to another pet counselor. While I was at the register I can HEAR Jeffery in the back yelling at the girl who helped me! I was hanging around the front of the store waiting for my ride, when the girl came out. I told her thank you for helping me, and I asked if she was off. She told me she got SENT HOME early because Jeffery did not like the way she helped me! She helped me PERFECTLY and no one could have been as sweet as her. I continued to go, but when I go I was conscious of going to the store if he was working. I live right next to the store, and regularly buy wet dog and cat food for my pets. This is when I had my third issue, this time he directed it to me! I was shopping for wet cat food when Jeffery noticed me. I like to take my time in the store, but unfortunately Jeffery DID NOT LIKE THIS. He had a sweet girl come up to me, and tell me to leave the store!! I asked why, and she said the manager had asked me to leave today. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE THE TIME TO BROWSE THE STORE! I asked to speak with the manager, but he refused to confront me! I then wanted to know if there were any upper level management, but I was refused the information! That is totally an unacceptable way to run the business. Especially when I have spent hundreds of dollars to that store for my pets! I will be taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully to a place that can run a business much better then this one. Yeah the puppy's look sad, but the manager is even sadder. I heard the manager cuss at others, send people home for no reason, and tell paying customers to leave their store. WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS? I will not stop until I find a way to contact Jeffery's boss. As a business owner myself, I cannot believe that this man is the manager of a place like this, when any of the girls who are sweet and caring can take his place and make the WHOLE store a better place. If I could give negative stars. I WOULD. more
