Lake Brazos Steakhouse

Have eaten there many times over the last 5 years. Steaks have never been good. Burgers have usually been fair. Salads are cheap bag mixes that usually border on stale. Veggies are typically overcooked to the point of being tasteless. The last straw was when receiving a Chicken strip dinner, the gravy was burned and tasted horrible; it should have never been served. One of the chicken strips was rotten, yes rotten. When the waiter was notified we were then treated like we were trying to get over on them and receive a free meal or something. The manager did not even speak to us. After letting them know that we did not desire a free meal they asked if we wanted some more food!!!!!!!!!!!???????? Also, we usually go there by boat, but their dock is falling in to the point of being dangerous for myself and my family. Lake Brazos Steakhouse either needs to drastically improve or close their doors! more

Lake Brazos Steakhouse is a neat place to eat. They have a clean restaurant and the employees are friendly. They have a good variety of items on their menu. The prices aren’t bad for a steakhouse. They have a nice location on the river. Give it a try if you are over that way. more

If you have read my other reviews, you probably already know not to go to Docks R. Front for Steaks (the sea food there is good). Thats why I am glad I found this place. Nothing but the best. The steaks have a very similar taste to the way my grandparents used to make for my family and I on their ranch. Has very nice elegant waterfront dining. Just to let you know if your not aware of it-their steaks are USDA approved. I come here maybe by my self while I work or sometimes my co-workers have used the place for conducting meetings. The look of it is of course like a cowboy's dream come true. Mmm. My mouths starting to water from writing this review. more
