Best

, decently clean, short cab ride to downtown. If looking for cheap and reasonable close to downtown by cab I'd recommend.

We booked the hotel as we had a night in Nashville. I was expecting a motel with police tape around the outside with abandoned cars. The cars were there but no police tape.\r It was really good value and clean.\r The bathroom is a little small but enough room if you are not big boned.\r The bed was really comfortable and I had a really good nights sleep.\r However there was no jousting, moat or towers to fend off the dragons (kidding).\r I was quite surprised were was rooms available due to game 4 of the Stanley Cup final and it's about a 15 minutes walk to the centre of the city to where the party happens.\r \r I would book it if you want to save a few bucks and use your savings on drink. more

Took a solo trip to see the Impractical Jokers and needed a place to stay. This hotel is easy to find right off the highway. It is a simple room with just what you need to stay. Nothing special bit clean. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Staff was very nice. Prices were cheap for being so close to downtown. Would recommend. more

Four minute drive downtown. Twenty minute walk. Not the cheeriest area. Very industrial. The person who said they could stay closer to downtown for $20. more must have been on drugs. Try double or more. Comfortable bed, fridge and microwave. Get here early and park next to the building (poorly lit parking lot) then Uber or walk downtown. Had some trouble opening the door, but a very nice maid helped me out. Would stay here again. more

Comfy beds, not the Marriott, but for a place to stay after a night downtown, great! more

We stayed for one night in a nice notel just next to the downtown of Nashvile, so we could leave our car there and walked for 10 minutes, to come to the downtown. more

Over the past two years, I have been coming to Nashville to attend Predators hockey games. I am not a Predators fan, however, they are the closest National Hockey League team to where I live. Nashville is a fun city to hang out in all in all. The Knights Inn Downtown Nashville has turned out to be a pleasant surprise, both last year and this year. It has one of the most reasonable rates for a downtown Nashville Hotel. It actually is not right in the center city, in fact, in an industrial area just outside of the main core of the downtown area. Nevertheless, it is a convenient location. Not long before I first stayed here last year, the hotel apparently underwent a change of ownership and it appeared to pay off well for the hotel as they were in the process of making cosmetic upgrades to the facilities. I saw more of those improvements this year in new coats of paint and the grounds being more spruced up. It is a dated property, llkely built some time in the 1960s or 1970s, but again, the people running the place now are upgrading it. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. On both visits, the rooms were clean and everything was in reasonable working order. The only suggestions that I would make for improvement would be slightly larger bath towels and increased breakfast hours(perhaps 6 AM to 10 AM, versus 7 AM to 9 AM). All in all, I can honestly say that I can be a repeat customer at Knight's Inn Downtown Nashville. more

This is my fourth time staying here and it has not disappointed me yet! The price is low for the location and the room is always clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. You get breakfast for free, which I did not expect. It was pretty good. Overall, I'll be staying here again in the future. more

We are repeat customers, we stay there because the staff if friendly, the price is within our means and walk, taxi, or uber make getting downtown and avoiding parking expenses convenient. more

We made an impromptu stop in Nashville and this hotel was our first try at finding a hotel. The rooms were very quiet. Nice, clean, with comfortable beds. The staff friendly and helpful! Complimentary continental breakfast was nice: waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and cereal. Coffee and juices. I like the closeness to downtown and the cost! more

We stopped in Nashville for a couple of nights on our way to Florida. The Knight's Inn was a great place for us to stay. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/28/2017

Our room was clean but the outside areas are a bit dirty. The breakfast was better than others we have had. You can make yourself a waffle, there are hot options and juices. The pool is nice.We walked to and from downtown. It took about 25 minutes. A very safe walk especially when there's a football game on.Uber cost about 5 dollars. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/7/2017

The hotel says downtown but it's not that close to the nightlife so you'd probably still need an uber to get around. I must say the rooms are decently furnished and clean, so for the price that I paid I'm quite content with it. more
