Where to begin. Called to have our furnace fixed. Was not firing. James was a pleasant guy who was the tech that came to fix the problem. He was here for about an hour and could resolve the problem so he called Lennox for some help. After a half hour on the phoneon hold with Lennox, James was told by his Boss to leave. I could not believe it. I asked why and he said his boss had other jobs to do. James was a bit embarrassed but stated he worked for him and had to obey is boss. So now we have no tech here, going down to 27 degrees and no heat. So I call up the office and spoke to the owner. He advised me never to buy a Lennox, hard to get parts, expensive and there was nothing he could do for us. He has other jobs to do, so basically told be good luck(Your Screwed). I thought I was the customer???\r Paying for a service, getting no results. Please advise all friends to stay away from this company!!!! more

during the last heat wave our central air conditioning went down. we found kennedy's in the yellow pages. they came out the same day as our call and gave us an estimate. work began the following day. the work got done. the workers were competent and polite. the people in the office were very helpful in providing us the information and the forms for the available energy rebates and tax credits. hats off to kennedy's. we know where we're going next time we're in need. more

I recently had AC equipment installed by Kennedy's and had a very pleasant experience. They were professional, knowledgeable, responded quickly and were helpful with the current energy rebate programs. The guys worked all day and completed the job as promised. They were also courteous and cleaned up after the installation. I am very satisfied with the work they did and would recommend them. more

Just had an inst'l of new heating & AC equipment. Kennedy's quoted me a price, showed up on time & completed the job within the expected time frame. Price never changed. Workers were both skilled & knowledgable and there were no surprises. I own several MAINE comm'l properties and employ skilled HVAC tech's to maintain those properties, however I wish I had as honest & reputable firm up there as Kennedy's obviously is around here. more

I have to disagree with Tracy M. I have been using Kennedys for years and have never had anything but a pleasant experience with them. Perhaps you didn't understand that the $79 is the cost to diagnose your problem and the cost of repair is separate from that (again, I've been using them for years and they still explain this to me everytime I call for service).\r \r And yes I am a REAL customer, I would post my name and number here, but that would be stupid. However, call Kennedy's and ask for their references, rest assured, I will be one of the people you speak to. \r \r -James- more

Do a terrible job then charged you a higher price and charges your card the higher price without asking.Like the customer above don't bother talking with Tim Kennedy because he is the one telling his employees to do business this way.Once I checked behind his workers they didn't even do the job. I spoke with him from out of town and he cursed me out. I simply stated I'll deal with you when I get back to Ct sitting here getting cursed because you fraudulently charged my girlfriends card @ isn't working for me. He thens calls the Hartford PD and says I threatened his life and gave them my phone number. A detective called me and left a message I told him what happened and he said just forget about it his investigation was complete.I knew his business would go down the drain thank the CT Consumer Protection. Warning he will be the cheapest when you call aroun but trust me you will pay for it in the end. I guarantee the good more

Amen! 1/22/2010

I thank the Lord Jesus for Mr. Kennedy and his men. They came in and fixed a job that was left in shambles by an unnamed, irresponsible, unlicensed contractor who took my deposit money, started the job and disappeared. I had a hole in my house for 2 weeks while I waited for this contractor for nothing! Kennedy came in, fixed and finished the job AND even helped me track down the other contractor. He saved my tail to say the least; and has earned a fan and a customer for life. Pros: Helpful above and beyond the call Cons: nothing! more

I was impressed by this company. Their workers came into my house with covers over their boots to keep my house clean. They were also very nice, adn answered all of the questions I had. They even helped and gave me advice to how I could lower my electric bill. Their performance was exceptional. Pros: well trained workers Cons: not cheap more

they installed a new furnace for me. $4800.00 was the cost, but after rebates, I only paid $3300.00. I thank them because I had no idea about gov't rebates and would have spent $1500 more. Work done good, only in 1day with 1visit. Pros: saved me a lot of money, good work done fast Cons: no sister more

I chose this company to perform my kitchen/bathroom remodel after seeing some of their previous work. I would like to publicly say that I am 110% satisfied! Everything was done to the ""t"". They were done in less than a week and left my house and yard cleaner than when they came. They made the money and time I invested very well spent.? Pros: Quick, clean, thorough Cons: nothing more

I had never had to call a plumber before. I used to just call my super and forget about it. Now that I own my own home it's a lot more stressful but Kennedy's made it easy for me. Pros: reasonable, quick Cons: noone more

Clean, professional and fast 12/29/2009

My furnace died Xmas day! No other contractor could get to me for at least 3 days. Was I supposed to sit without heat for 3 days?? They installed a new furnace within one day of calling them. They saved me from 3 days of shivering. Thank you guys! Pros: Emergency service, installed new furnace in 1 day Cons: --- more

Worst customer service!!! 11/6/2008

DO NOT!!! USE this company!! They have no clue what they are doing over there!! I have been given a quote for 3500 and told our companys whole unit needed to be replaced. Then I was quoted $600-$800. They quote just keeps changing! I called to obtain an invoice of exactly what their quote was and what it entailed and was told by the receptionist she was up to her ears in work and couldnt get one out till next week. Dont even bother complaining to the owner. Mr. Kennedy is just as bad as his employees!! I was told the $79.00 fee would be waived if we used their services! Which we did and the fee wasnt waived!! This company is a joke and a big waste of your time and money!!!! Pros: the only pro about them was the installer who came was pleasant and very nice! He did a great job!! Cons: The owner and all the employees are a joke!! Company is a big scam!!! more
