I love exercising at our local YMCA. It is conveniently located and they have a good "Childwatch" program to leave the kids with. The staff is very friendly and low key. They did not pressure me to join when I toured, they just presented the information and let me decide on my own. (A friend toured another gym and they called back 10 times to see if she would join...ugh!) I also like that they are a Christian organization. They offer classes, weights and lots of cardio equipment. In addition, there are lots of family and kids programs that my children will enjoy as they get older. more

I love the YMCA! 4/30/2006

I love the Ken Lay YMCA - what more can I say! The childwatch program is fantastic - my kids beg me to let them go almost everyday. I love the pilates classes especially. The instructors are knowledgeable and very nice. The facility is sparkling clean and modern. My only criticism are that sometimes the teens at the front desk are less than helpful, but during the day, that isn't a problem. I can't wait to try out the swimming lessons this summer. more
