Michele got me back into peak shape! 4/24/2011

I'm in medical school, and as a result of the last 2 years of not working out, having a diet based on Wendys and Pizza, I put on about 40 pounds. I started with Michele almost 6 months and have lost 34 pounds of fat, while putting on 9 pounds of muscle. I'm a former athlete, and she customized strength training workouts that were perfect at each stage of my 'comeback' to being looking and feeling my best. As a nutritionist she was supportive, and it was her incremental approach of having me gradually drop bad dietary habits and coping behaviors that helped me get off to a successful start and continue to lose fat and build muscle throughout my 'training/process' of getting back into shape. I feel great, and self confident again, and now know that I'm not going back to being that out of shape and misreable. more

Michele got me into my best shape. 4/15/2011

I'm finishing up 9 months of working with her, and I've lost a total of almost 36 lbs of fat, and even built up lean muscles after weight training with her. She guided me at every stage of my weight loss, and was patient, yet firmly encouraging me to change some of my dietary habits that were holding me back. Working out with weights at the beginning was not an easy task for me, but she was patient and now I feel I confident enough to strength train on a weekly basis on my own. I feel this was an investment that was definitely worth it. I love the way I look, feel great, and at almost 40 pounds lighter, have much higher energy levels. As an MD in internal medicine I'm always recommending to my patients to eat better, but now I have a more thorough knowledge of what that really means, plus I have a qualified nutritionist I can recommend my patients too. more
