This is one of the old time standards in our area. They truly have best variety and the freshest of goods available. Pricing is pretty good and the staff is always courteous and helpful.. They do have a cafe attached to the bakery. The food is great, but I feel as though it is a bit overpriced. Other than that this is a true treasure more

Best in Town, I think 11/12/2005

Josef's Vienna is such a good bakery. Their cookies and brownies are so great. I really love them. I like to buy a big box of goodies for parties or get togethers at my church. Everyone tells me that they love the Josef's goodies. They have a ceramic studio, too, where you can paint ceramics and take them home. When you do a birthday party like that, you can have a great slice of cake and glass of milk while you paint, too. more

Something for everyone 7/17/2005

Josef's Vienna bakery has something for everyone. Josef's has been a Reno tradition for many years, and it's still just as great as it has always been. They make a very wide variety of cakes and delicious cookies and they now make sandwiches. There is even a quaint little dining area where you can enjoy a quiet lunch. Josef's bread is made from scratch and all of their sandwiches and delicious. Josef's can get fairly busy, but I have always been attended to and taken care of very promptly and curteously when shopping there. more
