Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts

I was shopping in the Erie store and I don't know if I will go back. The manager Betty Jo told me that the store closed in 45 minutes and was nasty to me when I had her cut fabric and made me feel like I was making her work over and bothering her. One girl they called Bri...was acting like she was on drugs.... The store was messy and not much help, and the ones that were there didn't want to help you.....Why have workers like that......rude!!!! more

I've been to this store 3 times in the last month-lot's of projects. I bought a sewing machine and was looking for fabric. The sales people were so rude and not helpful until I pushed. I think their fabric is overpriced as well. Want a good fabric shopping experience, go to Remnants in Erie. Great prices and nice family owned shop. Kid friendly too. I had my 2 yr old granddaughter with me at both places. She is 2 and needed to potty. Joanne's wouldn't let her use their restroom despite the emergency..ended up having a parking lot mishap. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience as I heard the cashier being rude to another customer as I was leaving. more

Even if you're not someone who crafts or sews, you have to check out JoAnn Fabrics for their sales. I love that before any holiday they run nice sales on items for that holiday, sort of like a clearance before the holiday even gets here. A great selection of household items, including candles, knick-knacks, outdoor items and more there is hardly anything you can't find! I love their selection of baskets, usually 'sale priced' at 50% off or more, which brings them down to a very reasonable price. A great way to create a unique gift box, use one of their special baskets and add a couple of great smelling candles or gourmet food items. The crafty side of you will, of course, enjoy their craft sales and items. They have kits, embroidery floss and cross stitch kits, fabrics, patterns and tons more! Most of the clerks are quite helpful, although the one manager needs a major attitude adjustment, and will make your visit pleasant. more
