Extremely experienced. The only ""safe"", legitimately trained Thermal Reconstructionist in Utah. 10/21/2007

I was lucky to find Annie about three years ago when I came from California to visit Utah. I had my hair straightened with the Yuko system in L.A.. Annie used to Luscio system but I thought...hey, I'll give it a try. Annie was so professional and yet easy to chat with. After conducting the whole process (some 4 hours), she did not feel satisfied with the results and so...She conducted the whole reconstruction over again. I have never since had such excellent results. By the way, after having a wonderful experience with Annie, I returned to L.A. and to my formerly trusted sylist. My former stylist, who had initially sworn me to 1) never get my hair wet for 3 days after the Yuko process; 2) never dye my hair for at least a week before and several weeks after; 3. Be sure to use a sylist who used ambient heat and a respected product. Well, suddenly, she wasn't so concerned about any of that. She sent me into the rain after a treatment, died my hair as she applied some sort of toner during the process, and said that ambient heat was no longer a necessary step in Yuko's system. She said there had been advances in the Yuko product and in the application techniques. I have not read any of her claims in my research but I HAVE found out (in being tempted to go to a beauty school advertising permanent straightening) that there are other products that they reluctantly confessed to using---""Wellastrate"" (make by the Wella/Sebastian Company). I have read NOTHING but horrible reviews of this product and...I suspect...my L.A. stylist switched from Yuko to something like this Wellastrate product. At any rate, none of that with Annie. She states upfront that she uses Luscio (which I now like better than Yuko) at is dedicated to her clients' satisfaction. It is really important to find the right reconstructionist with the right product and Annie has all the right stuff! I appreciate her so much. Lin Tree Pros: I have not yet been to Annie's new Salon so I can't rate the facility but, wow, do they have gold in her! more
