I'm in love... with Ikea 11/30/2008

I just got a new place and I am doing it all in Ikea stuff! my family and I have been living in less than 1000 sq. feet for two years, and WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT without the space saving products from Ikea! 4 people in aprox. 800 sq feet is very hard to manage, but the beds and storage made it possible and FUN! I love this place, and have even decided to wait to relocate to NM since they don't have an Ikea! my kids love Smalland and the food is awesome! we have ben there just for dinner - seriously. great place to study and drink coffee in the mornings! I know I must sound nuts, but this is AWESOME! Pros: EVERYTHING more

You can't go in that store without buying something. I haven't been to a store where there are so many original finds. I love it! Pros: great price, friendly employees, great food! more

  • In Short
Hopen, Malm, Aneboda-no, those are not suggestions to name your pet, but the Swedish names of IKEA's designer furnishings and decorative odds and ends. Created with a "one-way" layout in mind, shoppers weave through a labyrinth of seemingly endless showrooms stocked with equipment to creatively accessorize every room under the sun. With patrons ranging from groups of freshmen students looking to outfit their tiny dorms to entire families, the store offers a huge repertory of styles, patterns and colors for every unique taste. And speaking of tastes, the small restaurant just beyond the cashiers serves up traditional Swedish fare for those who worked up an appetite.
