DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY 12/21/2017

I purchased the Human Hair Velcro Ponytail Kinky Straight 16" for over $90 and it was honestly one the worst purchases I've done this year. The hair piece was horrid. It became tangled, dry an brittle within 2 days. No matter what you did to it, the hair just reverted back to its dull, dry, off color state. I have never regret a purchase as much as I did with this. Whelp, lesson learned. Please use your hard earned dollars buying something else. I wouldn't recommend this hair to my worst enemy. They don't even deserve the one star. more

I having faithfully bought hair from his and hers for 13 years. French body wave #27. Over the last 4 years the cost has skyrocketed and the quality has gone down the drain. I follow the instructions for care to the letter, but by the 5th washing it becomes nappy and dry. I have tried other websites and can't seem to get any better quality. Costumer service says it's because the hair has been processed to make it blonde. I used to be able to keep it in for 3 1/2 months before it dried out and tangled. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and now when I order I beg them to please send me a good batch. As always it is a crap shoot on what I end up with. They have done nothing more than pick up the shipping fees once. This is how they treat a loyal 13 plus year customer. Can anyone recommend another company. Remember I'm looking for blonde hair. more

Very disappointed 4/19/2015

I bought a closure and 2 bundles of the French Refined. First of all they died the closure it started to rinse every time I washed it. The shedding is so horrible. I have only had my hair for 2 months. I have been wearing hair weaves for or 10 year due to Alopecia. So I was very disappointed. I know how to care for because I've been a licensed cosmetologist for 20 years. I will never go back. I will go back to the company I have been using prior to this the hair I get from there had last me will over 3 years with no shedding or tangles more

Cuticle Hair Do not buy!!! 3/20/2013

I was so dissapointed in this hair! I have been wearing extensions for 10 years and have never had this many problems. I was recently complaining to my extension specialist that the quaility of the hair I buy locally has gone down so she suggested that I try buying from His & Hers Hair Goods. I bought the best hair available which was $319.00 for what they claim to be their finest hair... Cuticle Hair. Yikes! That is Double the price of the hair I buy locally!! But I trusted their Claim it would last 6 months! It immediately started tangling up and was unmanageable. I read the instructions on how to take care of it and followed religiously. It looked worse after the first wash and then would not even brush out after the 2nd wash! I had it taken out within 2 weeks but since it is over the 10 day Refund Period of course now I am not eligible for a refund. Ahhh Rip Off! Please do not buy this hair!! more

4 years and calling it quits now 8/6/2012

Things have changed at His and Her. I referred so many people and now I feel embarrassed. The quality has drastically dropped and the prices have gone up. I was fine (after sighing) about the prices but after receiving 4 poor batches of human hair... Im on the search for other companies. After one wash, I was shocked how the hair looked and felt. I didn't change caring for the hair the way I've done for 4 years...so I know it isn't me. I called and the manager could only UNapologetically say human hair is hard to come by these days. I kept second guessing myself and my hairdresser confirmed it by saying "this is definitely not the same; it feels and tangles like synthetic hair". more

Love his and hers hair goods 4/29/2012

I have been using his and hers for years now and I have not had an unsatisfied customer. I'm a salon owner and specialize in extensions. I personally use European wave & French refined 50% Italian mink. Read read read your instructions when it comes to using the hair. The instructions are very detailed and following them is the key. I know my hair extensions very well! I have sold all textures and I never go wrong with this hair. The hair goes from wavy to straight with no problem and all the colors are on point! I have never had a problem with customer service before because I never had a problem with the hair period! my clients reuse there hair and it last up to 2 years. My clients only buy top quality from me and they get the instructions, that's why it last so long. I never go wrong with the wavy textures and that's all that interest me. I'm African American and it looks so natural, it's amazing. My advice is do your research, know your textures, and find a stylist who is educated in this field. more

wow I thought I was going crazy 10/12/2011

Bought same Virgin Cuticle french body wave from them two times in a row( again thinking may be I got a bad batch0, both times they tangles and they look icky and synthetic looking after 30 days. I am soooo upset.. what do we do now. I called them and they just brushed me off! i wont buy again. I think they dont process their hair correctly and mix synthetic hair with their human hair. How can we complain? hmmmmm more

15 years of purchasing same cuticle hair and it has always been top grade hair that will be super for over 6 months. You do need to follow directions for care but my hair is always great looking. more

French Body Wave 5/9/2011

I purchased the french body wave 20-22 inch color #1B....It was on clearance and I see why. Color 1B look like 2, and it's sooo dry lookn and tangle like hell. But thats what I get for being cheap. HATE IT! STAY AWAY! 3/26/2011

1st & last time buyer from here!! I live in Ga an I ordered their human hair. 2 pack of the SAME EXACT hair and i open the package and the hair is two completely DIFFERENT TEXTURES!! One is coarse and NAPPY & the other is silky! I called immediately and the customer service woman was terrible and was upset because i wasnt pleased. I cussed her out and told her I wanted my money back. I will be sending this mess back first thing Monday morning!! It gets better there is a 15% service charge for refunds!! tf?! NEVER AGAIN! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE more

VERY DISAPPOINTED 2/3/2011

I agree their customer service after you've purchased the hair SUCKS! I purchased 22" and 18" and it is worse than synthetic hair... My baby sister buys her hair from Sally's and it looked 100x's better after a week than the hair from His and hers... I seriously cried because the hair cost me $290 and it tangles w/in 15min of me combing it... That is horrible... I will NEVER purchase hair from them again!!! And wouldn't refer anyone their way! more

I have been wearing 22" Italian Mink body wave extensions in my hair (braided in track method) for about 15 years now. So I definitely know all the ins and outs of extensions, how to care for them and what is good hair vs. what is bad hair. I have noticed that for about the past year or so, His and Her hair has diminished in quality. It used to stay shiny and bouncy for about 2-3 months, now I'm lucky if it looks good even 30 days after new hair goes on. It gets dull very fast and isn't holding a curl well at all. I also notice the ends get very split looking after just a couple of weeks of wear. Not sure what is going on, but I definitely notice a difference, and I have plenty of experience with different hair and with H&H to base that on, so please refrain from commenting dumb things like "You just don't know your hair extensions" like another poster commented to someone else here who has noticed the same thing I have. I am currently in the process of looking for another supplier with similar prices, but so far that hasn't been easy. I will review them once I find them and try their hair so I can compare. I have tried Sepia and WigPro brand hairs, and these are very low quality (but not low prices). I would avoid these if you are looking for silky soft, caucasian looking hair. Will post again later on what I find.... more

SUCKY! 7/26/2010

Once upon a time, their hair was of GREAT quality. For the last year or so, their hair has gone downhill. I have given them several chances (thinking that I may have gotten ONE bad batch), but after buying the perm straight, french refined, kinky wave and european wave, and they ALL matted, swelled and tangled, I have come to the realization that they are now putting synthetic hair in with the 50% italian mink. I REFUSE to pay $105/pack for hair that looks a hot mess after 2 weeks, when the same grade of hair used to last 7-10 months. GARBAGE!!!!! more

HORRIBLE 11/6/2009

I have never been so disgusted with a product in all my life. I order the French Body Wave Hair in T6 and when my hair dresser weaved this hair in my head she could not even come it! I purchased this hair in 20 inches and she had cut it down to 14 inches just to put the come through it and it still did not work. I called his and her hair goods who told me to take a track of hair out of my head and mail it to them, I received a call from the Supervisor Jill that said she saw no problem with the hair I told her that i couldnt even fathom what she was telling me and that i could not even come the hair she said she used conditioner in the hair and it was fine. I told her that i used everyting possible and it didnt work and that i wanted my money back she said NO rudely and said if i ever ordered with them again i would get 20% off! more

I-Tip hair 10/10/2009

I order 10 sets of the I-tip hair and was VERY pleased. I realized I could use another 5 sets, so I ordered only one week later. When opening the package of the second set,the PAINFUL DIFFERENCE IN LESSER QTY. ON EACH STRAND WAS OBVIOUS. 1. Strips "fell" out of their slot before I even pulled the set out. The strands are visible thinner. 2. The diameter between the first shipment of strands and the second was obvious. This second shipment was basically MUCH THINNER AND STRINGIER. 3. Where the first shipment of strands would each fit snugly in my 4.00 silicone rings, the second shipment slips right through-like now I need a SMALLER RING. If that doesnt scream "Cutting corners" I dont know what does.I am soooo disappointed. I give a 3 only because hte first shipment was like a 5++++, and the second shipment is like a -1. more

For the person who wrote the hair she got was the worse...I'd like to inform potential users of His & Her Hair Goods. Choose a "professional" who knows something about human hair. I am the owner operator of a Hair Extensions Salon in Atlanta GA., and I have been using His and Her human hair products for hand sewn hair ennhancements for more than 25 years. We even guarantee it! But we also counsel our clients on how to take care of it. And since I am a consummate professional I work with their 50% & 100% Mink products, the Body Wave (Fr, and Reg.) and the Water wave. I have a few clients who use "cuticle" hair...These are all good. You or your "stylist" just don't know your hair. more

The WORST 3/13/2009

After having my silky straight regular hair put in, it was a mess of tangled, shedding straw. I called customer service and followed instruction on how to wash the hair and care for it but to no avail, I still had a mop of straw on my head so I had to have the extensions taken back. After talking with Suze the manager, I sent the hair back with a letter asking for store credit. Instead I got a rude woman who old me , and my stylist with over 20 years experience, that I didn't care for the hair and they washed it and sent it back and there was nothing wrong with the hair. When I explained that there was no way I was putting that hair on my head, she told me she couldn't help me and HUNG UP on me. I did receive the hair back from them and it was still the worst and more so, she made me feel awful and I was out a lot of money. I don't know how Suze can call herself a customer service manager as if I ever hung up on a client, I would lose my job. more

Good Hair Bad Customer Svc 10/9/2008

I have been using His/Her hair for the past 4yrs...The best hair they have is the cuticle hair..I recommend the hand tied in darker colors...I have used the same batch of hair for 8-10 months at a time, using care when taking down and washing. The customer svc SUCKS! They will not listen to you if you get a bad batch of hair nor will they refund or consider a good discount when they know its their fault. It is a Korean owned business and they are HARD to settle with! Know what your buying B4 you buy! more
