When we needed new bedroom furniture 2 years ago, we went all around Cambridge, Boston and surrounding towns, only to return about 3 times to this small corner store on Mass Ave between Harvard and Central Squares.
Their funiture is made by local craftmen, and all the lines share a beautiful simplicity, made of solid wood. We were also happy with the customer service. They worked around our preferences to get the particular pieces that had wood patterns that we liked, and everything was delivered to our house on time.
We have really enjoyed the furniture (as have some of our friends it turns out), though the store is not cheap. Also, some of their furniture lines (including ours) have some sort of a satin finish, which is beautiful, but makes it more vulnerable. The sales woman instructed us how to take care of the wood with lemon oil, and it's been working well.
