I bought a couch from this store, and scheduled delivery. The morning it was supposed to be delivered, I get a call that it didnt pass inspection and will not be delivered. I tell them I need it, so they actually delivered the messed up couch and said they would do an exchange next week. Now the next one is messed up and will not be delivered and I find that out the night before. So, I call the store and their response was, I told the delivery guys to let you know a couple days early instead of the night before or day of. So, I have sat at home rearranging my work schedule and taking off, for no reason, and Havertys was unwilling to take anything off the couch for my time. I will never buy from them again. Pros: Delievery Guys were great Cons: It has taken several tries and I still dont have my couch more

I always appreciate the warnings when people who have a bad experience write reviews on products. I was looking for office/desk furniture and saw the review on Haverty's. I was quite surprised because my husband and I have purchased from Haverty's many different times since the store opened and have always had a great experience. I had bought a bedroom set and when delivered they had the wrong pieces of furniture. Then the furniture started falling apart bad with in months. Well then I bought a 3000.00 couch and chair. With in 6 months the reclining chair broke and it was over a month before the problem was resolved. They could not figure out how to order the part to fix it and so I wanted a new chair. They finally brought the new chair and it is 6 months old now and the cushion looks bad on it. Well the couch has been broke for almost 2 months and the warranty company called guardsman is an absolute joke,. They will not call you they will not fix your furniture they try to find a way out of fixing it. Since I have been trying to work with them , two technicians quit working for them so I guess because they are so bad I will not get my couch fixed. I just would really be careful when buying from Haverty's. My sales person was super nice and she is not to blame but everyone else just really doesn't seem to care.
