Happy Hearts is awesome! 8/16/2010

My daughter has been going to Happy Hearts since she was 3 years old and is now 6. She just graduated from Kindergarten there at a 2nd grade level in Math and Reading. Miss Wanda gives each child special attention in order to help them grow at their own pace and the progress my child has made is astounding. My daughter started out at a day care very close to this school, which was horrible. They didn't watch the children like they should have and my daughter was bit by other children several times and nothing was done about it. They also didn't teach them anything, which includes any curriculum or sharing and being respectful of others. What a HUGE difference Happy Hearts made in my child's behavior and happiness. I am so grateful to Miss Wanda and Happy Hearts for giving my child such a great start in the world of education and social interaction. I cannot thank her enough. more

A wonderful school you should know about! 8/12/2010

This school has given my daughter extraordinary results in her reading, math and writing skills. She attended after school help one on one with the Mrs. Wanda last school year, and she will be attending this year as well. Mrs. Wanda helped build her confidence and attitude toward her school work! As soon as you walk through the door you get such a positive reaction from your child and the teachers. I have complete satisfaction from this school and they should be recognized for their accomplishments they have achieved with every child. more

One of a kind learning center 7/27/2010

My daughter cried every morning at the previous school she was enrolled in. After the first day of Happy Hearts she asked; ""When can I go back?"" Over the last 1 1/2 years the staff at Happy Hearts has become family to us. They take a special interest in all of their students' social interaction, learning abilities, and level of fun experienced in class. My 5 year old daughter is now comfortable with First grade math and is excelling at reading and writing! What an accomplishment. I owe it all to the wonderful people at Happy Hearts!! Pros: Interaction, activities, learning, field trips, FUN! Cons: NONE! more

Have you ever wondered 3/23/2010

Have you ever wondered if these websites for rating a school (or any business for that matter) are really of any help, imagine your competitor being able to write whatever they wanted! Or anyone angry at you for any reason they could even slander a persons good name. Former Parent Pros: Great school more

Excellent, Beautiful, Clean School 7/15/2009

This school is beautiful, happy, clean, Miss Wanda even gives the children birthday parties! She loves my daughter and my young three year old son has way nore friends than he ever would have in a daycare. They always come home talking about what they did that day. They birng piles of seatwork during school season and during summer camp they each bring home at least one project a day. I love this school and wish my children come here through college. Pros: Small Class Size, Happy Children, Friendly Staff, Cons: My Child can't come here forever more

Happy Hearts is wonderful 7/23/2008

My daughter has been attending H.H. for two years. We are even foregoing traditional ""free"" kindergarten to keep her in with Miss Wanda. Since she began at the age of 4 she is reading at a 2nd grade level, writing (beginning cursive), and doing 1st grade math. The wonderful part about H.H. is that the curriculum is tailored to your child and their level, not vice versa. Wanda is constantly buying new curriculum to keep up with the kids who are showing such progress. I love the small class sizes, the cozy and cheery atmosphere, and that I am greeted every day and told what my daughter will be doing every month, week, and usually day. We just got back from a 2 week vacation and she could not stop talking about her teachers at H.H and was so excited to get back. She recently told me that she is sad about turning 5 because she won't be able to go to school with Miss Wanda next year for 1st grade. The kids are happy, constantly engaged, and their curiousity is fostered in a way that I have yet to see in other schools. We truly love this school and feel that we found a gem. Our son will begin at the end of the year and we cannot wait to see what progress he will make. People are consistently amazed at what our daughter can do and we do truly owe a great deal of it to Miss Wanda and her staff at Happy Hearts. Pros: Caring staff, small class size, curriculum tailored to students, progress is amazing. more

All I feel I need to say is that this is an excellent school. 7/18/2008

Great School and Teacher 5/15/2008

I am not sure what the previous poster is talking about as my daughter has been at Happy Hearts for almost a year and the change in her has been dramatic. My daughter who just turned six is a special needs child and prior to going to Happy Hearts could not write her name, recognize words and had a hard a time recognizing letters and was not even close to learning how to read. \r \r Since September she is writing her name and words, starting to read and is even doing adding and subtracting. I would have never thought she would be able to do those things in less than a year. Wanda really cares about the kids and works hard to help children especially those who may have struggled at other places. However, she does believe in disciplne and order and that is one of the things I like about the school. Many other places I have visited the kids were just wild and crazy.\r \r Wanda encourages parent involvement and plans a lot activities for the children that include parents. I think Happy Hearts is a great school and look forward to seeing where my daughter will be academically next year. more

Worst Daycare-Kindergarten anywhere. 4/17/2008

My wife and I went in to see Wanda the owner of happy hearts on our interview we were promised the stars.\r After about 3 months we found that not only was our child unable to do anything new but started to lie, we thought very little of this at first but the we started to talk to the other parents. Our conclusion after talking with Wanda and other parents was that, Wanda Does not know anything about running a school. She is on her cell phone all day during school, yells at the kids, yells at her ""assistants the one who actually interact with the kids"", berates parents in front of the kids, and Worst of all is a pathological LIAR.\r So if you care about your children please do not send them to this school. The learning that takes place is very little maybe 5 minutes a day. you would be better off sending them to a daycare. Cons: No recess no learning no education no values no GOOD more
