Do NOT sell anything to these crooks!!! I had a large number of expensive newsweeks from WW2. They are valuable. I sell them on ebay around $20 to $40 each. I thought I would see what they would give me for them so I could sell them all at once. They offered me.09 each. nice cents!!! They admitted they would sell them for around $40 each. Total rip off, totally insulting and stupid workers!!! more

Great place to pick up a lot to read without paying the big bucks 9/17/2008

I'm an avid reader...I go through a book every other day or so...I try to use the library when possible. But if I'm traveling or just want to stock up to have some books around, I can walk out of Half Price with 6 or 7 books under $25...it's a great bargain! It's also a great way to clean out your bookshelves or DVD collection and put some change in your pocket. more

Can't be beat 8/2/2002

As an avid reader with limited disposable income, I love this chain. I was recently near this location during vacation and picked up three popular books for less than $15 total. While there, I encountered a number of students searching (and finding) books on their summer reading lists -- wish I had been able to shop here when I was in school. Staff was friendly, and the store was well-organized and clearly laid out. Buy or sell here. more
