Had to buy a new car when another dealership sole me a lemon that left me with a broken arm, plate in my hand, and no airbags. Was VERY scared about buying a new car and VERY particular about where I went. Came to Griffin Ford expecting the "typical" used car salesman; pushy, rude, and trying to sell me something I couldn't afford. I was totally wrong. Not only did the salesman tell me to take all the time I needed, he made sure I had the car fax reports on all of the cars I was looking to buy BEFORE even test driving. He got me a wonderful car with low milage for LESS than I was willing to spend. Now my brother, who is in the Army and stationed all the way in Seattle, is looking to buy a truck and is waiting to purchase until he comes home and looks at what Griffin Ford has to offer. My mom is also looking to buy a new SUV, and she too is going straight to Griffin Ford. We won't let anyone in our family buy a new car unless going here first! We came to Griffin Ford looking to buy a Ford Edge, we had no idea that the perfect vehicle for us was just put out on the lot.\r \r The salesman, Roy - worked in the used car department - had an easy time of it because we were already sold on the vehicle the first time we sat inside. He was very genial and happy to show us some of the other features, and he let us take the Edge out on our own for a test drive by ourselves - we were gone at least an hour!\r \r He also was very accomodating when we offered up our trade in of our current car - and he even found some boxes to put our stuff in when we cleaned out the car to turn it over to them as part of the transaction.\r \r Kay Horn, the business manager, did a good job of explaining the financing options and other service packages, we felt we got a fair choice at what was available.\r \r The service department was also very helpful as we ordered accessory parts. I have had nothing but good luck with Griffin Ford in Waukesha. I have worked with them for the past 9 years, and have always had excellent care. They are willing to help you find what you are looking for, and are out to get you the best deal possible.\r \r I use thier service department for a lot of my maintenance, and really like them. They do try to upsell you a lot, so you have to be aware of what you really need. I visited Griffin Ford in my search for a new used car. I was looking for a Ford Mustang GT. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything that met my needs at the time. I left my name and phone number, but they never called me back. I have no idea why they didn't. Price wise, this dealership is willing to work with you and they will settle somewhere between private party value and retail value according to Kelly Blue Book.
