Dr. McKim is excellent 12/18/2009

I have gone to Dr. McKim for 30 years or so, and have always found him and his staff to be responsible, caring, and effective. He just referred my sick dog to another clinic, which has diagnosed renal dysplasia. He has cared for nine cats and now two dogs and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to his good care. This includes both routine care and emergency and chronic problems. don't hesitate to take your beloved pets to Dr. McKim. He is conscious of budget where necessary, but also doesn't take short-cuts. He is compassionate and very good with the animals themselves, acknowledging their need for reassurance. more

Big Fan of Greentree Animal Hospital 8/17/2009

I think Greentree animal hospital is fabulous. I have been taking my two miniature schnauzers there for six years now. Dr. McKim is so compassionate and personable. All of his diagnosis and treatment seem to be spot on. His staff is always helpful and cheerful. Even though we have moved to Kirkland, I still drive over to West Seattle to see Dr. McKim. He really is great. more

WOW!!! 1/29/2008

I was shocked when I read the other review. I have used Dr. McKim and the Greentree Animal Hospital for 3 years and I must say there staff and the Dr. The best Vet I have ever delt with. Maybe she should take them up the street where she can pay tens of thousands of dollars for lypo on the cat like they told me I needed to? It's hard when they can't talk to you but Dr McKim is one of the greatest Vet's. I feel more comfortable around him. All so having just moved here ever one I talked to said I should go to him so this one women must be very secluded. Lived in West Seattle 40 years or 4 months they all suggested Green Tree Animal Hospital!!! more

Best vet in West Seattle 1/26/2008

Dr. McKim and his staff are great. I was surprised to read the other review, since I've had nothing but great experiences here and I've felt that the treatment is very thorough and much better than you'd see at other places where you're just in and out. Go here - you won't be disappointed! more

Dangerous - do not take your animal to this place 5/4/2006

I had one of the worst experiences in my life with the so - called "treatment" that was given to my very sick cat. Dr. McKim (the owner) was quick to MISDIAGNOSE my dear cat and send us on our way with medication that in fact sent her into worsening condition... and into heart failure. Never once did he consider my questions - and completely shrugged off her condition as nothing serious - when she was having serious heart problems. Never once an apology. Or concern. They should be OUT OF BUSINESS. they are a danger to our beloved animals... more
