You must be joking. Of course I know where I went to get my hair styled. But that's a great customer service angle ... instead of accepting a negative review and learning from it, possibly improving your services, you choose to try to discredit the customer. Nice! Yes my stylist was pregnant. You may want to throw her a shower or something. So glad I could give you helpful information about your employees. more

Hi lorijean2008 \r This is the owner and we hate that you had that experience...however, it couldn't have been at our salon since we haven't had anyone on Maternity leave in over two years. And we agree...who would let anyone come in for an appointment that had been canceled? So again, we are sorry that wherever you went did that to you, but it wasn't here at Green Pea. Whimsical meets classy at this great little salon off 12th South. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and the color pallet is reminiscent of early spring morning dew and green tea. The receptionist was polite and happy and quickly offered a tasty beverage. Jean's creativity and knowledge of color shined forth once again when she added autumn inspired highlights to a drab head of hair. I followed her from her last salon and she and the salon are a perfect fit of professionalism and creativity. I will be back again and again. This is a great salon with a great stylist. more

I absolutely love Kathleen! She's wonderful and so so talented! However, I'm not a fan of Green Pea's receptionist. He's often times rude and seems inconvienced. My last dealing with him was me calling to try and schedule my boyfriend an appointment for a hair cut. We were going out of town that evening and everyone was booked up. He begrudgingly offered to see if anyone was available to fit him in at some point during the day. I said, ""yeah, that'd be perfect if someone can, if not, it's fine"". He then continued to act annoyed and put out that I was interested in seeing if anyone could fit him in. I could feel the eye rolling and annoyance over the phone. Especially when he asked for a phone number to call us back at and let us know if anyone could do it. Of course we never heard anything back. It absolutely felt like he was only going through the motions because he ""had to"", not because he genuinely cared. I hope that this isn't really the case and it's just an unintentional personality trait, but it really is off putting. However the stylists here are AMAZING!!! more

I went to see Jen at Green Pea Salon on the recommendation of a friend whose hair I really dig and wound up loving her! Usually, I'm the kind of gal that goes to see a stylist once a year, but I've already seen Jen twice in the past three months and I plan to be back in May!! I trust her to do whatever she wants with my hair, she has a wonderful talent. Keep in mind, tons of other people agree, so try to call well in advance to book an appointment. Pros: Great cut, wonderful products, neck/scalp massage Cons: A little pricey, but very worth it!! more
