This bakery is the ""real deal"". Fresh baked breads and sweets that taste better than anythong else out there, PLUS most of there items are really good for you. You can try anything they are making, because they give you free slices (and big ones, too!). They use really good ingredients like fresh made flour that they grind right in the bakery on their stone mill, many different healthy grains, local honey, and never any trans fats.\r

Their customer service is the best I have seen, with helpful people wating on you. Many customers are on a first-name basis with the staff. One possible downer is that they have become so popular that sometimes there is a line just to buy things, but the wait is worth it. Also, they don't make things like wedding cakes or fancy French pastries.\r

Also, Great Harvest really supports the Charlotte community by going out to the various events like 5K races and fundraising walks and giving away products. Check it out for healthy whole grain products. I think they are the best bread bakery in the Carolinas. I'm sure you will love it.
