This was a must-do on our list of things to do while in the Lancaster, PA area. Food was served family style. It felt like we were guests at an Amish farm house. The shoo fly pie was soooo good. The service was great, as was the food. more

This is a family style buffet restuarant and the food is always top notch. This is not fine dining but if you want good old fashioned stick to your ribs country cooking this is the place to eat at. The place is huge and is able to handle buss loads of people at a time. Try the rice pudding! more

Good 'N Plenty lives up to it's name. It's an all you can eat, family style restaurant, that serves up traditional Amish foods. They have a bake shop and gift store located within the building. It is closed for a couple of months in the winter, but I highly recommend stopping by any other time of the year more

Me and my Family was on our way back from Cape May, NJ from vacation in June of 2012. My girlfriend mentioned going to good 'N plenty restaurant. I never heard of it. She said it is really good and her dad loves the bean salad. They usually go during the firemens expo in harrisburg. Well anyways. We went to good 'N plenty, me, my girlfriend, and the kids went there to go eat dinner from such a long drive and still had 5 more hours to go before we hit our hometown Pittsburgh, PA. When we got there they seated us and at first i kinda felt weird sitting beside and eating with strangers lol. When she said it was all you can eat buffet i thought we was actually going to be seated together and go and grab our food. WELL let me just say after sitting beside two strangers at a large banquet table and started to have conversations with them i started to feel comfortable and it felt like we was all a family and friends. The food was out of this world. I can not describe how superb it was. My taste buds was exploding with flavor of delicious food. We had Roast Beef,(that was so moist and tender) Corn, Mash Potatoes, Butter Noodles, Bean Salad, & Desserts. Let me just tell you it was the best homemade cooking i have ever had in a very long time. I was Raving over the butter Noodles it was the BEST. (let me just add i have the butter noodle recipe LOL) It had like a sweet kinda taste and i couldn't stop eating them. I was soo fool after i left that place it was well worth it and the money. more

We have been making a point to visit Good & Plenty when in the Lancaster area for years. Food is always authentic and delicious. Service is always with a smile. But, you must be prepared for the Family Style dining. We have met some nice people seated at our table.... Be open-minded and enjoy! more

Wow! We had an all you can eat family-style dinner with amazingly moist turkey and gravy, fried chicken, and pork and sauerkraut. After dinner they had cheesecake, homemade ice cream, shoo fly pie, pudding, and pumpkin pie for dessert, and all were excellent. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the service and would definitely go back!!! more
