Ok, I would like to make this very clear; I am not a member or a customer of Global Travel Network. Not that I don?t want to be one, but I am just saying. So this is more of my experience with one of their timeshare presentations. I received and invitation in the mail a couple of days ago inviting me to take part in a travel presentation. In return for attending, I would get a free $25 dinner card, and a $200 gas card as well. Now that is not much to some people and is not very much to me either, but in this economy, free is free.
The presentation was said to last 1 hour 30 minutes. But in reality, it lasted about 2 hours. Not that I am complaining, but I would have loved it to just have lasted for the 90 minutes promised. After the presentaion, they tried to convince me to buy one of their membership travel packages which by the way was very interesting and inexpensive as compared to other packages I have seen before. Nevertheless, I did not buy any of their packages, because I did not go to the presentation with any intentions of buying, and for now, I don?t even think I have the funds for a vacation membership. But they were very good offers.
So after a little chat with two of their sales agents, I finally got my free gifts and left a happy man. So for that, I give them 2 stars. And for their nice offers, I give them another 2.5 stars. So on an overall; they got a 4.5 star rating from me. It was a nice experience and at the end a free gift.
