Glisan's Restaurant

After a lot of thought I decided not to link this review to his pornography diary but this restaurant employs a guy named Dylan that is hands down a health hazard. My son is friends with him on facebook and showed me his online journal. In it he talked about all the gay group sex he has. Some people just do not need to be dealing with food and this man is one of them. My son asked me to take my review down because he was afraid someone would see and Dylan would lose his job. I've decided he should lose his job. This would be a nice place to eat and take the family if not for And this isn't about being gay. My son is gay and he isn't out having sex with everyone and posting pictures and journals about how they rate in the sack and if he was I wouldn't let him serve me my food either. I worry enough about hepatitis in restaurants to not repost this. more

New and improved ownership? I don't think so! \r \r After placing our order, we waited and waited and waited. On several occasions the waitress told us our order was coming right out. We still waited. We waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes! Meanwhile, other customers arrived, were served, and left! Another family, who arrived shortly after us, also waited about 45 minutes and then left. When I asked to see the manager, I was told he would be right out. He never appeared. \r \r Finally, our party of four, also left -- without being served. When I spoke to the manager at the cash register, he told me that he was really sorry for the delay. When I asked how he could justify seven other tables (arriving after us) could be served and cleared while we sat and waited, he told me they were having problems with ""a printer"". A PRINTER??? I told him that was no excuse, as he had clearly seen and heard from our waitress that we were STILL waiting for our order.\r \r I have no idea what was going on with the kitchen and wait staff. But clearly, the manager has no control of his employees. Believe me. The service is STILL bad. REALLY BAD. more

Glisan's is under new and improved ownership, they are trying to get back what has been lost from years of poor management.\r \r Raised here these new owners moved back to save glisan's repatation. It seems to be working, the food is returning to what it used to be many years ago. Folks from all over came to the mountain for a Sunday dinner, now you can eat and enjoy a family surrounding and friendly service.\r If you know Glisan's go there now and see the changes being made.\r Give them a nother chance if you stopped going because of bad service.
