The Management is Terrible, And Safety plus clenliness is Unsanitary. The Gilpin and the lodge are connected. Dealers at the lodge were discovered to be cheating at the card tables over the past year. They were caught and fired. Did the casino make an effort to contact the other players who lost due to this. Millions of dollars lost without a chance of winning!!! Also on that note if you look at percentage payback on slots they are rated #1 or 2 This is because you play 20 dollars loose 19 of it then the machine pays you back 18 dollars, you still loose a dollar or 2 never winning nothing, yet this shows their payback percentage as 82% or higher, what a joke!!!! Ask others...... They will tell you what a terrible place these casinos have turned into. Also if you want to walk in piss just go to use the restrooms, I have told them on several occasions their is piss all over the bath room floors, just to see nothing done 1/2 hour later. Also Don't bring your elderly I was at the Gilpin casino for several hours, watching workers on the floor just hanging out chating with each-other instead of helping patrons. An elderly lady, I passed several times was not looking good and seemed to be asleep at a slot machine, no one cared or checked on her, for over an hour. The elderly woman fell out of her chair and split her head open, ambulance came and helped, I spoke to a manager about this, All I got from him was excuses and untruths, He kept going in circles like a politician no costomer service, I will look into this or anything, just said our policy is this and that, not I hope their ok or we will pay more attention to these matters. I suggest if you decide to go to one of these casinos pay attention, to workers/customer service And remember Their only after your money. Also there are much better casinos in town, with better food/customer service and looser slots, not a fictinal percentage. And don't forget about the table games.
