franklin and stoneham zoos 11/1/2009

ive been going to these 2 local zoos since i was a child and love both zoos...................i dont mind paying more money to support these wonderful zoos as i would hate to lose them ....................and the animals are wonderful to view................please support these 2 great zoos so they can keep these zoos open for future generations to enjoy..............................anyone writing a bad review should be totally ignored..........these 2 wonderful zoos deserve alot of praise as they fight to stay open..................visit them often and support them............they need our support for sure..................also anywhere we go now we have to use our common sense...................do not leave any valuables in vehicles period and roll up windows and lock your vehicles at all times.............leave valuables in a safe at home where they belong!!!!!!!!!! you have no one to blame for your total lack of common sense..................keep safe and dont invite criminals to our neighborhoods!!!!!!!!!!!!! call the police when you see something out of the ordinary to keep our neighborhoods safe and the crooks away!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: local zoos that need our support more

waste of time 6/12/2008

My recent trip to the zoo was so dissappointing that I thought I should write in and let people know not to waste their time. The animals, when you can see them (most are hiding) look lethargic and sick, more pitiful than anything. The lion looked borderline dead. The two indoor exhibits smelled so bad of urine that I had to turn around and exit immediately. The admission is fairly priced, but I'd rather pay more and have better conditions and more animals. I may check out stone zoo, and hopefully have a better experience. Pros: low admission Cons: poor conditions, animals are more sad than entertaining more

Car Breakin in the zoo parking lot ---POOR SECURITY----- 9/5/2007

The zoo itself is less than impressive. The animals look sad and pathetic. Cons: Security, pathetic state of animals more

Fun! 7/25/2002

Although this park is not in the best of areas in Boston, it is still a great place to visit. It is very large so bring good shoes. It has a cute baby gorilla who definitely worth the ride in. It has lions, giraffas, kangaroos, emus, hippos, jaguars, many birds, moneys...it's a really fun/educational outing. more
