I am a senior citizen, that at times because of my age can be a bit sensitive, concerned, and at times hyper regarding my health issues. It is very difficult to find a doctor that is available, informative and responsive. I was referred to Dr. Miranzadeh by my daughter, who recently sought treatment with Dr. Miranzadeh and was pleased. Recently, I had a health concern that came up unexpectedly and I needed prompt medical attention. I contacted Dr. Miranzadeh office and I had an appointment with Dr. Miranzadeh within one hour of my phone call. He took me in for an examination immediately. I was very impressed with Dr. Miranzadeh's expertise. He was very informative, patient and professional. He was very thorough in discussing my diagnosis, discussing all available options, and follow up steps. He also answered many questions relating to issues unrelated to the one I sought treatment that day. we started seeing dr. miranzedah at his previous northwest side chicago office and followed him to ashland. the problem now is that the exam rooms do not contain sinks. typically, when a medical professional comes in the room they head straight for the sink to wash their hands. here at this office, you don't know if they have just washed their hands or not so, you just have to wonder. i do see purell stations in the exam rooms but that is not a substitute for soap and water. I've had many doctors in the city (and suburbs) mostly because of my asthma and allergies. Not one of them has had nearly as much concern or knowledge for me as Dr. Miranzadeh. For as long as I can remember, asthma attacks and horrible allergies have been a year-round regular occurence for me. I was referred to him through a friend and WOW. On my very 1st visit, after talking with me, he recommended I get an extensive allergy test. (I found out I was allergic to things I didn't know I was allergic to!) I was given a few new medicines and I am now symptom free. For the 1st time in a long time FINALLY I can feel like a normal person and BREATHE. It's amazing how you can suffer for so long and just figure, 'this is just how I am, this is how it's always going to be'. But Dr. Miranzadeh took such good care of me which is more than I can say for so many other doctors I have tried. Bonus: He's very easy to talk to! I cannot say enough great things about this physician. I have had the pleasure of being his patient for a year and I am continually impressed with him. His vast knowledge and ability to explain everything in a way that is easy to understand and not intimidating is appreciated. I feel more like a friend then a patient. It's refreshing to have a doctor spend time with you to get to know you and your health, instead of rushing through his office to simply get to the next patient. As a non Chicago native, I found it difficult to find a doctor that I felt comfortable with. A friend let me know about Dr. Miranzadeh and he has been my doctor since. His style is very comforting and I find myself able to discuss in detail what is going on. I have recommended him to my other friends. Pros: Very easy to get an appointment. After visiting numerous other doctors in the Chicagoland area I found out about Dr. Miranzadeh 3 years ago and I've been a patient ever since. Every time I've visited his staff is very professional and courteous. There is never a long wait and I've had a good experience every time I've gone in for a visit no matter what the issue. I was introduced to Dr. Miranzadeh about two years ago, and I wish I would have been much sooner. I have never felt so comfortable going to see a doctor than I do with Florian. He is always there when you need him, and always sincere in giving you his undivided attention. If you want the best, look no further. Dr. Miranzadeh is like a member of my own family, only more intelligent. Sorry, I couldn't resist. All and all, he is one of the best doctors in city. After living in the city for 5 years and seeing half a dozen different doctors one time I've finally found on ethat I can keep. I've seen Dr. Miranzadeh three times. Appts can be made quickly and the office is easy to find (right on Ashland) The office is new and decorated nicely and the staff is friendly. The most surprising thing is that my appt started, get this, at the time it was supposed to. I'll definitely go and recommend him to family. On top of that he has a pretty good sense of humor which helps make a doctors visit much much more tolerable. He also explains things in easy to understand terms for us lay people. In my option, Dr. Miranzadeh is simply the finest doctor I have ever come across. He is one of the few doctors that truly cares about his patients, not just the business of medicine. Dr. Miranzadeh develops a repoire with his clients and truly listens to their concerns. Moreover, he is simply outstanding in helping to assess and determine prognosis. A friend of mine goes to Dr. Miranzadeh and recommended him. I am so glad she did! Not only is the office welcoming and clean, there is also ample parking available in the Wrigleyville location. Also I was seen at my actual appointment time! Dr. Miranzadeh was very professional and addressed my issues with honest concern. He is very easy to talk to and gave great care. I was referred to Dr. Miranzadeh by a medical student friend who rotated in his practice for 13 weeks. She was so impressed with his skills and patient care, she trusted him to take good care of me. \r \r His brand new office is beautiful and located continently right off Ashland Avenue a little north of Belmont Ave. The waiting room was filled with people of all ages, as I would learn Dr. Miranzadeh treats whole families ranging from babies to the elderly. I did not wait long, unlike many offices. He spent quality time with me, listened to my concerns, and addressed each one individually. The visit did not end until I felt comfortable all my needs were addressed.\r \r Dr. Miranzadeh is also greatly skilled in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. I have had chronic back and rib pain for years. He treated me with several different maneuvers and I felt much relief. Before I left, he noticed a was coughing. A cough, I have had since I was a teenager that have grown to ignore. He left the room and came back with a device to monitor my breathing ability. I was shocked to find out I had asthma!! All diagnosed because he heard me cough and asked a few questions. Since then, I have started medicine, my cough has disappeared, I get sick less often, and I exercise with ease. He even called a few weeks later to make sure I was feeling better and to see how everything was going, I couldn't believe it\r \r Dr. Miranzadeh is extremely attentive, inquisitive, and a special doctor. He not only can treat entire families but is also multi-lingual and fluent in Spanish, French and familiar with Italian. His patients include a variety of ages, cultures, and backgrounds. I suffer from diabetes and a severe skin condition. After visiting many doctors in chicago area, I remained very unhappy with the lack of compassion and mediocre advice I was receiving from my endocrinologist. My best friend recommended that I see her family physician Dr. Florian Miranzadeh. I was also given the name of doctor Miranzadeh by my mother in law who has many medical problems. Hesitantly I made an appointment and went in to see him. I discussed all my medical problems with him. Surprisingly he sat down and listened. We went over my meds and discussed concerns that have not been addressed in years. I did not know doctors like this existed. ...3 months later, now my sugars are well controled and my skin condition which was never diagnosed before( Lichen Planus) has not recurred since. Dr. Miranzadeh is patient, thorough, and truly cares. He is quick to return a call and can fit me in at the drop of a dime, which is hard to come by in most physicians, who seem too busy to be bothered. Children respond well to his mild-mannered temperament, which is another quality that is hard to come by. I would recommend Dr. Miranzadeh as a top-of-the-line family care physician to anyone. I went in for a mole removal. office is beautiful. staff is friendly. wait is non-existant and my mole is gone. Best of all the scar area looks great. I am very happy with him. jessica more
