I went back to the place/places I had gone before to purchase another wig. They were busy, and I wasn't allowed to try on wigs by myself (??????) so I left. I passed a wig salon (and I mean salon, not a store), Estetica de Ella, and stopped to check them out. I couldn't have been more impressed. Not only was it beautifully designed but the service was five star. The wigs were less than the other places I had been and the care, compassion and knowledge of wigs and their sense of style was amazing. The rooms they provide for you to try on wigs is not a closet with a mirror but a stylishly decorated, immaculately clean room. They are first class all the way. Plus, the front doors are locked so people are not wandering in off the street to check out a ""funny"" wig for fun.
Estetica de Ella (2614 Pennstlvania ST. NE) is first class in every way. I wish that I had found them when I was going through treatment and had received the thoughtful service that I so needed at the time. I wanted to pass on this information since it is this kind of information that I have found to be so important during such scary times. To go into a wig salon who is interested in meeting your needs first, as opposed to just selling you a wig, is a blessing people going through treatment can appreciate.
