Best Local Plumbing Supply and Help 4/19/2010

England plumbing is a wonderful local store. The staff is knowledgable and very helpful. I have gone there for supplies and helpful hints with a in-ground sprinkler system and a drip irrigation system as well as a water line for my ice-maker. They always give me the correct information (unlike the big box stores) and treat me with respect. As a woman and a do-it-yourself homeowner, that is so important!! Pros: Good stock of supplies and helpful knowledgable staff more

Stop here first 12/23/2009

I've got to echo the others here -- you can make 3 trips to Home Depot or you can go here once and get what you need the first time. You walk right in, explain your problem, and watch as the guys walk right to what need. No searching for an employee at Home Depot who may or may not know what you're talking about. Save yourself the trip and go here first! Pros: They know their stuff Cons: Just the one location more

Shop at England Plumbing if you want to get all the right parts the first time. I swear, they can tell by the look on your face what problem you are having and what you need to fix it. I get more done in 5 minutes at England Plumbing, than I could in 5 days at Home Depot. Pros: They know plumbing more

I have been getting advice and products from these guys for over 20 years. They know everything and can explain things to dummies and professionals! They have saved me money, time, and frustration over and over. Whatever project you are undertaking, see them first! Pros: Best staff in the business Cons: None whatsoever more

Good prices, Extremely Knowledgeable Staff 8/20/2007

These guys are absolutely amazing. While this is a smaller plumbing store and won't have *absolutely everything* one might need, I have never failed to find what is necessary for the small jobs I have done around the house. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, in stark contrast to the staff at Home Depot, who oftentimes gave me completely incorrect advice, which I followed with disastrous results. Home plumbing is not for everyone, but if you are up to the challenge, you can save lots of $$ by forgoing calling a plumber. Pros: Knowledgeable and helpful staff, great prices Cons: Be sure to return any unnecessary or unused parts soon, as they charge a restocking fee after a couple of months more
