We must add to the other rating since the last 10 tens have put a slightly different spin on things. Dr. Mendlowitz has been away giving his time for a free clinic out west. He has been Banjo's primary doctor. In his absence, Dr. Visco has cared for our pet. I tell you now, had it not been for her care, concern and above all extremely bright, thorough, and miraculous way in which she treats her patients my pet would not be alive today. She took a gamble while considering all health issues of our Banjo and it worked as far as we can see. She prescribed the use of Prednisone for his Lymphoma to shrink some huge tumors that were causing him the inability to walk without help. I must tell and shout out to all that he is walking, eating and very much alive with a good quality of life which is all we can hope for. He has cancer, he is diabetic and this medication did not scare her. She is ""On Top"" of it since Prednisone will increase the sugar levels. Dr. Visco simply said, she would tweek his insulin as needed. We would not have our beloved pet today if not for her intelligent decision. We do not have words that can adequately express to the public the wonders of both of these extraordinary doctors. You just don't find them like this. All my experiences owning pets in my life has ended horribly. Dr. Visco's medical talent and expertise is ensuring that if Banjo has a week or months to live, he will live it, we will love him and enjoy him and he has a quality of life that still allows him to play in the sunshine and love us back.
