I had an unsuccessful surgery Dr. Rostami. I went to her office for Ptosis, my droopy upper eyelids. But, she suggested that I do a face lift as well. she failed to tell me that she was not a plastic surgeon and she is only an Oculo-Facial Plastic Consultants. However, after talking to her, she convinced me that she can deliver what I needed to fix my Ptosis and complete face lift. On April 28/2016, she did the operation on my upper eyelids and face lift in her Reston office. Right after the surgery, I had complications with my vision and both ears which I still do. I Also did not see any changes on my face. I informed her immediately but she refused to agree with me. I went to a couple of plastic surgeons to get a second and third opinions. Every plastic surgeon I went to told me that I did not have a face lift, she hasn’t done anything on my face besides giving me scars, probably nerve damage on my ears and many other complications. My lower jaw and chin were not even touched, as they put it. I was also told that if I had an emergency issue while under the knife she was not able to take me to the hospital as she is not a plastic surgeon and she doesn’t have the privilege to operate as a plastic surgeon. These second and third opinion doctors told me that the real face lift must be put to sleep for full 4 hours while I was a wake with my surgery so I basically paid for full face lift and got nothing. I am demanding that I get a refund, I paid and for the damages that she cost me. I must get that money so I can go to a real plastic surgeon and fix what she has messed up. This surgery cost me so much emotionally, time and economically without any result. So many e-mails, phone calls and so many trips to her office. I don’t feel comfortable to go to her office anymore. She has temper issues and don’t respect my wishes.
