We bought our fridge there and washer and dryer, washer and dryer are still holding up but we had the fridge for only a week and I woke up and the freezer was defrosting everythin...

We bought our fridge there and washer and dryer, washer and dryer are still holding up but we had the fridge for only a week and I woke up and the freezer was defrosting everything, i had to throw away food and the lady said noone could get out here on a sunday i believe it was, so the man came on Monday and said oh well all you need is Freon so he put it in and said it would be cool in a couple hours, thank god i did not go grocery shopping again..anyway four hours later still blowing out hot air, I told my fiancee to call the man back and he did and the man said oh give it 24 hrs, so the next day still hot air, so my fiancee went up there and the manager gave us another fridge, its two weeks later and its gone out again, all my freezer stuff is at my fiancees parents and my fridge stuff is sitting in ice. Im sick OF it..Tomorrow morning we Plan to not back down and get our money back. Im done with used crap im going to buy a brand new fridge because we cannot afford to go spend money more

Best place to buy furniture in augusta by far!!!! I shopped for a livingroom set and bedroom set for a week straight and went to every furniture store in the csra and davis appliance had the bestdeals in town. The furniture was top quality and very affordable. i bought a catnapper sectional for hundreds less than i had seen the same one for at other places. the matress set i purchased there was a sealy posturepedic and they were half the price others were selling the same set for.and get this, THEY DELIVERED THE SAME DAY I BOUGHT IT!! I COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER SERVICE. THANK YALL SOOO MUCH! more

GREAT FURNITURE STORE 6/22/2011

i bought a bedroom set and mattress set from them and they were great. i got a great price and same day delivery and set up. i wanted memory foam and i thought i would have to pay an arm and a leg for it but they sold me a queen all memory foam mattress set for less than alot of places sell regular sets for! im very happy with the solid wood bedroom set they sold me. i give them a A++++++ rating! more

CHEATED 10/19/2010

I bought a refrigerator from Davis Appliance and it did not work at all. I shouldn't say that because the light did come on. The store owner assured me that all appliances were checked by the service department, and that is why they offered a warranty. I called the store to ask about a refund. I was told there was a no return policy. Please don't waste your money at this store. more

I bought a brand new bedroom suit that was not solid wood and a brand new washer and dryer (roper) as they suggested.. I was extended the credit, this is in 1990, the bedroom suit held up forever, only reason I don't still have it is because I threw it away because I had no where to put it in 2002.. the washer and dryer I am still using today.. sept 4 2010... more

The woman who answers the phone is very rude. I called to inquire about repairing a refrigerator The woman answered the phone and continued her conversation with someone else. I finally got to ask my question she answered curtly, cut me off and continued her other conversation. Hello! I'm calling you to spend money in your establishment, learn some customer service! Better yet, learn how to answer the phone, I'd rather be put on hold than ignored without explanation! I'll never ever use this company! more

Davis Appliance is the worst place to go for used appliances 12/30/2009

my chest freezer was broken into so I went to Davis to buy a used one after about a week the freezer stopped working and I had to throw away all my food because it was too late when I realized the freezer wasn't working. the repair man came two days later and took the freezer away after another 5 days they brought it back and said it was fixed. they only issue warranties for 3 months and do not give you an option to get a refund or a replacement appliance. for my money I could have put a down payment on a new one and done much better DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY THEIR AD SHOULD SAY THEY HAVE BEEN SWINDLING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY FOR MORE THE 60 YEARS :-( more

So so service 5/22/2009

My bf bought a scooter from them this month and it is already giving him problems. While we were looking at getting the scooter we were quoted multiple prices when it came to the scooter and the labor to get it. My bf decided to get the scooter and assemble it himself because the rep said it would be easy. The scooter came with no assemble guide and the the maintenance guide was written in very poor English. They also told him that if needed help with the scooter then they would come look at it; what end up happening is that when he asked for help he got the run around and end up having to have a friend look at it. All in all I cannot say that I am very pleased with the experience I had with dealing with them. more

A very nice store 4/16/2009

To often we hear negative and nothing positive. I bought a washer and dryer from Davis, sense their fire. And they are doing a good job, and keeping their spirits up. I meet Mr Davis who is a very nice man. He first helped me find something in my price range and he made sure it got delivered the same day. Every one was nice and professional. The girls in the office also. I pray for yalls speeding come back .\r \r Cindy more

Not a good store/I agree 9/8/2007

I bought a refridgearator from there in July. It hasn't worked right since i bought it. It has ruined 100s of dollars worth of food. They have been out here 3 times and it still isn't working right. The last repair man out here said the compresser was gone and they would replace the whole thing but the "boss" sent another rapair man out and he said it was fixed. They had another fridge with them but didn't leave it because they said it was fixed. But its not. I only have 1 month warranty left. more

Went looking one day.... 9/30/2005

for an appliance and stopped by the store on deans bridge road. the sales people on the floor to put it as nice as i can: they were condescending to say the least. not at all a pleasant experience. the appliances were at that time used and in poor looking condition. very crowded and not even middle of the road furniture. if you need something that will last a few months then this is the place for you. more

This store is not a good store at all. I went there to find furniture for my office at work. The sales associates were very rude. No one offered to help me. I walked and asked for help and I was still treated as if my money was not good enough for their store. I left and did not return. I took my business elsewhere. more

Not a good company 5/4/2005

My husband and I brought a living room suit from them and wanted a dining room suit as well and the salesman quoted us a price and when I went back to get the set, he acted like he didn't tell us that, but I did get it for the price he told me after going to the manager. more
