BAD 12/29/2010

The only reason you should try on wedding dresses at David's bridal is to get an idea of what styles you like and your size. Once you get that go somewhere else. \r \r When I arrived for my set appointment they assigned me a sales person that told me to look through the dresses and pull what I like. She then left me there and didn't come back for about 45min..... I had to go find her. When I finally found her I discovered that she had 2 other brides that she was helping. She had me go get the dresses myself and then left me in the dressing room where my mom had to help me get the dresses on. The dressing room was small and uncomfortable. every dress I tried on looked cheap and not very well made. I fond 2 dresses that looked just ok. I even told the sales lady that I was ready to leave only after trying on 2 dresses. I was horrified when I left and thought that every experience would be like this. \r \r I made another appointment at a small boutique on 6th ave. in cherry creek called Bea's Bridal nook. I had a much better experience where I tried on only three dresses and fell in love with one that I bought. the professional and personal service that I got at Bea's was wonderful and stress free. Don't expect much when you go to davids bridal. What you can expect from Davids bridal is horrible customer service, tons of people everywhere, small uncomfortable dressing rooms, and dresses that fit weird and are poor quality. more

Horrible Customer Service 2/28/2010

When looking for a gown, you want some degree of personal service. While price is a consideration for everyone, we are not entirely limited by expenses. We thought we would try David's Bridal, as the gowns look nice and are moderately priced. Any price advantage is lost when customer service is taken into account. These people do not know the details of the dresses, and make you feel rushed, like they are helping you after-hours. I would consider (at least this franchise) only if given no other choices. I can't speak to the other franchises, but will certainly not mind paying a little extra money to have more individualized attention at the many bridal shops here in the Denver area. Pros: moderate pricing Cons: customer service, fast-food service menality more

horriable in every way 7/30/2009

The service was awful; my friend who was shopping for her gown was greeted with annoyance and impatience. To top it off the gowns are low quality and terribly over priced. Try only as a last resort. more

Worst experience ever that will not stop 4/14/2008

Do not..I repeat DO NOT give your information upon checking in at David's Bridal. Not only is this the Walmart of bridal stores but they will also sell your information to every single vendor in the nation. My wedding was months ago and I am still getting junk mail and telephone calls. I wish I would have known better, every other bridal shop I went to kept my information for their personal use and has not exploited me the level of David's Bridal. If you want the worst experience ever and want that experience to continue well after leaving the store...I would recommend David's Bridal. more

Chaotic 3/27/2008

Part of the chaotic experience was that we went on a Sunday afternoon. We did have an appointment and were assigned an associate soon after arriving. The associate told me every dress looked beautiful when it really didn't; the dressing rooms are no bigger than a closet and the associate had too many women to attend to which resulted in mediocre service. To add to the frenzied atmosphere the front was under staffed and the girls seemed a bit harried. The intercom didn't work, so when they needed to page someone acted like they were using the intercom but were in fact yelling. It may be worth a visit because the place has so many gowns, but if you want individualized attention and an inviting atmosphere, don't bother Cons: chaotic more

SLOPPY SERVICE, LOW END GOWNS 12/20/2007

My first time ever gown shopping I went to the David's at Park Meadows. I was rushed and pressured into buying a gown I really wasn't crazy about. my consultant was staring at me blankly with her arms crossed with no input no help or direction. (unless it was pushing me into ordering.) the dresses are low quality and cheap knock offs of other dresses. you can feel the cheapness in the fabrics and when you walk in the door of the shop. I recommend Davids Bridal to NO ONE. shame on them. Pros: none come to mind Cons: dull, sloppy consultants, pushy and very low end gowns more

Avoid if Possible 4/27/2007

I visited the David's Bridal near Park Meadows and was less than impressed. I had an appointment but still had to wait to get in. When I first arrived no one even asked me if they could help despite the fact there were several employees standing around. I had to approach someone. The saleswoman helping me was also helping three other brides so there was virtually no one-on-one attention. The gowns are priced to sell but you get what you pay for. Everything I tried on felt cheap. Nothing made me feel like a princess and in fact I came close to crying in the tiny cramped closet in which I was changing. The whole thing felt more like a chore or a punishment than a fun and happy bride to be experience. There are many other stores in Colorado with inexensive gowns and I would treat David's as a very last resort. Pros: Low prices Cons: Atmosphere, customer care, quality, tiny changing rooms more
