Cindie delivered both of my sons, and my wife and I couldn't have asked for a more skilled and caring person to be part of our births. She exudes calmness, care, and intelligence, and she's a very empathetic listener. Mel helped deliver our second, too, and she was also great to have available. We had two very different births: the first in a hospital, and the second at home. They were supportive and flexible in both situations, and I recommend them highly. Cindie might be a great midwife but the addition to her practice of Mel parsons and Jennifer Issacs was poor thinking they are incompetent and lack the trust in pregnancy birth and in women that is essential for midwifes. lack of trust communication and listening skills puts moms and babies at risk ! more

Cindi Brown is a competent, caring midwife. She is reassuring and respectful of the labor and birth process. As a birth and postpartum doula, I work with many midwives and careproviders and finally had the honor of working with Cindi. I hope to do so again. more

Cyndi is a licensed nurse midwife who has her own practice and previously had an arrangement to deliver babies at Swedish Hospital in Ballard. Now she delivers at either Group Health or the Community Birth Center (montlake). Since she works alone you are virtually guaranteed that she will deliver your baby rather than whoever is "on call". Cyndi was super to work with during my pregnancy. Office visits usually lasted 45 minutes to an hour: plenty of time for me to remember all my questions and talk about ways to have a healthy pregnancy. Very friendly and calm, easy to reach for the odd question or concern and knowledgable of recent research and medical findings. She volunteered to come to my house for the early stages of labor and was very competent and reassuring during the delivery. more
